🔺Ok...Buckle up for this super-moody Blade Runner vibe! The visual and musical theme is just awesome. I would've liked to animate the character to make it come alive, I didn't have the time to do so, but I'm extremely happy with how it turned out, regardless of that. The look and color grade is just so nice. It's almost as if you can "taste" the colors, if you get what I mean hehe :). So PLEASE, help LIKING this video because it really deserves it, imo that is :)Take care and have a lovely day!🔺NOTE: If you want to support my work, please feel free to leave a very much appreciated donation: ko-fi.com/spacewavecosmicrelaxation. Perhaps he faked his death, that's why he left Deckard alive. Here, older and tired from a day's work, he remembers Pris and Leon and Zhora and he's surprised, a bit annoyed but also pleased that he's sad about it.

I think the point of the movie was the opposite of him feeling empty. I think he was one of the most full and human characters of the entire story. He wanted to live a long life because he's seen so many wonderful and terrible things. he appreciated life the way the nobody in that city did. looks like he has a bit of a smirk in this image to me like he's looking back on his life in nostaliga

RIP Rutger Hauer. Roy Batty is, in my opinion, one of the (if not the) most understandably sympathetic antagonists in movie history. I would not call him a villain, in fact, I am hesitant to even call him an antagonist. All of that aside. This is just so wonderful. I have listened to this while working and while studying for exams. It is so calming, relaxing, and helps me focus. Yes, Roy Batty was the hero of the film!! Imagine you were a replicant and you found out you only had 4 years to live. What would you do? Don't be so quick to judge. All he wanted was more life. THIS is why we need a prequel story focused on Roy's life from inception. In his dying monologue, he revealed an incredible past. That would shine a light on his true character. Take a person's life out of context and you can misjudge very easily.

She told me she remembered the day she lost it, it was her favorite one. That little toy traveled 30 years from her small white hands to me, her older bitter brother, the one that used to take care of her and watch her sleep, the one that put himself between she and Dad to block the leather lashes that he used to gave us. Im saving it for her, like a real treasure.

For my MA thesis in literature I wrote about human identity in the oeuvre of Philip K. Dick and relied heavily on Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. Synthesized from his many books and short stories, empathy is the divisive factor in what makes one person a human-being and someone else an android. Who is who is never set in stone in Dick's work and that's beautifully translated into Blade Runner, one of the few movies Dick had a creative say in. Like so many talented people he died way too young, but fortunately left us with an incredible legacy. Thanks for sharing this amazing soundtrack!

As much as the music superbly encapsulates the atmosphere and aesthetic of the films, THAT visual work of Roy grown old (the "What if?") generates soo many questions. Is this life worth living? What is life without friends? Am I truly alone? Will someone ever show me kindness instead of fear & disgust? Should I just end it all or carry on? How did I get so tired? Will humanity ever learn from it's mistakes? Can I just be left alone? Why was I created? Was it solely for war? Can I change my own purpose? Why have I not found more meaning to my existence? I could go on but I will shut up. GREAT WORK all round :D

Nothing short of mesmerizing and relaxing! Listening to this puts my mind at ease, whether I'm just relaxing or working on grad school assignments. And your artwork for this is amazing; almost as if I could reach out and touch him. Rest in Power, Mr. Rutger Hauer.

Listing to this on the train ride home from the city while it’s raining out side makes this surreal. Keep up the good work.

My Dad introduced me to the Blade Runner at the age of 9, he was literally a clone of Mr Rutger Hauer, extremely Aryan, also in spirit, Mr Hauer passed last year, same as my Father, i miss them both with every raining day, goshhh..

"Too bad she won't live! But... Who does?" That hit me as hard as Roy's soliloquy.

in the year 2000 I bought my first group of DvD's. Amongst them was Bladerunner, Dogma, and Gladiator. I forget the 4th one, but the image of an aged Roy touched me as the movie did everytime I have seen it. Thank you and be well.

*“I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.* *Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.* *I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.* *All those moments will be lost in time,* *Like tears in rain.* *Time, to die."* For ever.

There's pain brought on by regret and loss in that man's eyes. Only now it's too late to correct those past mistakes, nor can he see those he's lost ever again. Just have to wait till the end in order to finally forget.
