May Allah reward Shaykh Asrar- he is doing a great service in clarifying these major errors spread by various KZbin speakers. Some people would say he is creating disunity etc but he is actually explaining the true Sunni position with regards to many matters which would otherwise be inaccessible to the English-speaking public.

Imran Hosein is appealing to reverts like me, at first. I mean, he has the 'sheik' title for a start and speaks about the 'exciting' parts of the Deen, yaum al-qiyama..I was always into eschatology, so naturally even before I reverted to Islam ( alhamdulullah ), Imran Hosein was the be-all and end-all as far as Islamic scholars went..Then little things started nagging me, from his bad Arabic pronunciation to his interpretations-ta'weel?. Unlike most fanboys, I looked up the hadeeths Imran uses for his interpretations, and found the guy seriously over-stepping his authority. My knowledge on things Islamic is nowhere near most others, I'm not making takfir on the guy, I'm not qualified to point out links to sufism or his brotherhood with the Shi'a, but if his interpretations and certainties don't jibe and his interpretations are not based on Sahih hadeeth, then I got wary..I learnt my lesson the hard way and if I could only give one piece of advice to my fellow reverts: be careful where you learn your Deen and who you learn it from.. Back in the days of jahilia, I'd look up to rock stars or other celebrities, now it's brothers like Sheik Asrar Rashid. This brother is a wealth of knowledge, it would be a humbling experience to meet him someday, insha'Allah.

Great point zazakAllahu khairun Sheikh Asrar. It is obvious that the non arabic speaking audience should never take any new facts, comments but most importantly opinions based on scriptures or ahadith of today's scholars they lecture as the "truth". Instead we must process this information and analyze it further. Sheikh Hosein is not a linguist of the Arabic language nor arabic is his mother tongue, as many other lecturers, thats why we must be cautious of what to accept or reject.

So basically, Imran Hossein made the من for تبعيض, i.e. بعضَ روحي. Whereas that is not the meaning it conveys. The obvious problem would be that it'd imply تقسيم in the right of Allah.

subhanAllah we respect sheikh imran hossain but sheikh imran needs to sit down and have a dialogue with these young scholars the likes of sheikh asrar to keep in check as he is in the dawah platform at the age of 80 and could possibly make mistakes

Yes I'm shure the sheik agrees with you..he just saying this to untangled the christain belife that Isa a.s is Allah or part of Allah...in that case Adam a.s would be part ..and all humanity...would be part of Allah...I'm shure he and no Muslim believe that anyone is part of Allah.
