Just to add on first answer on expression pedal just on strings.. Plugging the Fc-7 in to the foot controller 2 port is set by default to control the super knob via the pedal. So depending on needs there are several ways if you need more assignable controls. And also you can always have two FC-7s :-)

These videos are absolutely superb. Jack you are always such a top chap, with Mike and also Luke from Korg. I love the Orchestral phrasing from Mike. Some of the most definitive Music Bro videos on You tube. I have the Modx and this does inspire me. Please keep up the good work...I'm Elektron, Korg, Roland too. Andertons seem to cover all. Cheers.

Great to hear musicians talking about things decent musicians will recognise. In the end that’s all that matters - not whether that flashy widget does this or that. Analysing or as it’s called these days ‘deconstructing’ chord sequences etc very welcome.

Very nice videos. Hopefully one day we'll see Jack and Mike together on stage somewhere. I was blessed by these videos - Mike Patrick is a great musical mind. Definitely one to watch, great mind. I never liked the Montage, but this gentleman uses it effectively. The answer to this amazing sound is polyphony, learning how to play polyphonically and use the correct inversions to highlight the leading melody. Takes some homework, but sounds amazing. Good one Mike....

Ha! i rang Andertons earlier whilst you were probably uploading this latest video and was raving about it !! was wowed by the previous and never paid attention to the Yamaha Montage. Seen previous comments and wondering whether going with Montage or Modx. Given what you've played, can you achieve this on the Modx with the string expression etc ? Same key action on both models? Thanks . Excellent vid as always guys.

When Mike plays a melody, he's flipping the third intervals and making it it a sixth which makes the melody bigger.
