I don't get why if they're legally repossessing it why they need to wait until it's empty and basically steal it? If someone's repossessing, say, your tv, they don't wait until you're not using it to break into your house and take it. They show up to your house and say "hey you owe money so we're taking this"
@raider03525 ай бұрын
The issue is that since its a civil matter you can't use force to make the repo, and the police won't help with civil matters. If you take it while they are in it then it is basically kidnapping, and if they get hurt during the process the repo man gets sued. In your example if they need to take the TV then you have to open the door and let them take it, they can't kick the door in and take it.

my main question is this: when & where are the repo pilots getting fuel in the planes? if the debtor knows their plane is gonna be repossessed, they’re going to keep it parked to keep it from showing up on FlightAware. and you don’t put fuel in a plane until maybe a day or two before your next flight at the earliest, but usually the day of bc you need know exactly what your route will be (which waypoints you’re passing through) & what the weather is like & how many passengers + how much luggage (to estimate total weight) so you can calculate fuel burn so you’re not flying around in a literal bomb full of fuel if you have an emergency. and fueling up a plane is a loooong process - whether you’re just putting it in the wings of a piston prop or older Citation, or if you’re using a single point on newer business jets. so they can’t make this dramatized sneaky grand escape. plus they have to do a walk-around & pre-flight checklists before even turning the engines over. and unless this is happening on some very very very very very rural landing strip like the “airports” that have numbers in the name like the lil grass landing strip at Bluebird Hill “Airport” (K5F5) in Keithville, LA, either the City/County/Airport Police or the FBO will be made aware of any unusual activity or potential security risks like a repo. so the weird Mission Impossible-style stealth missions are complete fiction with absolutely zero basis in reality. unless they were reporting from somebody’s backyard hangar attached to their backyard landing strip.
@nellj19807 ай бұрын
Yeah, this show is laughably bad and very unrealistic. There's so much that goes into getting an aircraft off the ground. Flight planning, W&B, pre-flight inspection, checklists, radio calls, etc. Like they just walked up on the plane, hopped in, started it and took off. LMAO.

The "venue" for this "big country star" is the Lou Bredlow Pavilion at 21823 Califa St, Woodland Hills, CA 91367. The plane hauling the "arms deal" is a pilatus pc12 and it's made for shxt like this, it has a payload capacity of nearly 2,400lbs, the way those guys lifted those crates so easily, there's no way that aircraft felt that sluggish. You could also, ya know, maybe possibly turn tf around when you're in the air and see there is cargo and search it in flight. The whole show is a croc of shxt to begin with, if you sneak onto any airport you're committing a federal crime. In reality they would just go to the FBO and tell them to ground a specific tail number as it is being repossessed, and a pilot would be contracted to bring it to wherever the collection agency or whatever wanted it to go. Dont creep onto airfields if you value your freedom.😂😂
