I didn't expect this movie featuring Alexa Vega aka Carmen of Spy Kids, Paris Hilton, and Nivek Ogre of Skinny Puppy to be insane! An absolute hidden Halloween gem, and plenty of gore to boot.

Yeah, hell, I’d argue the behind the scenes were interesting. Darren was trying to get Repo made as a movie, and Lionsgate kept saying he could make any movie after doing saw 2. But because lionsgate didn’t want a musical, they said no. And that happened for saw 3, and after saw 4, he made a short film to convince them. Lionsgate did say yes, but that Darren had to pay for out of pocket, which is why he signed on for saw 4, the money he made went to finance it, and a lot of the sets in saw 4 were reused for repo. And he got quite a few people to work on it for very little money because they believed in the project. Hell, even Paris Hilton fought her way into an audition because they originally didn’t want her. But one day she came in dressed as Amber with a scrapbook of how she saw the character. And she even saved the production. One day they were gonna be shut down cause they ran out of money, and Paris made an appearance at a club and used her fee to keep production going, and that’s on top of her donating her wardrobe for costumes. Honestly, this movie made me see her as more than the media personality she put on

I first saw this movie as a teen at like 1 am when I was sick with a fever and LET ME TELL YOU it informed my sense of style for a decade and a half. I also think Paris Hilton should have had a glam goth phase. She looked beautiful with dark hair and tons of dark liner.

Repomon: Where the technology has been discovered to grant humans powers by grafting Pokémon parts onto them, and it's now become an industry.
