Either he get the knee surgery done or other options need to be explored. Careers have ended in bone on bone situations With the kind of financial investment the 76ers have committed to Embid, the huge base salary, the max extension recently given, and the constant recurring "injuries". Paul George came there to play with Embid,, but hasn't really.Maxey has been compensated, but has had to do twice as much to be that other guy, a big two, rather than a big three.Daryl Morey should not have tendered the huge max, probably to shut down talks of Embid leaving, but should have waited to see how the medical situation resolved, but are now hopelessly, heavily committed.I think that 76ers fans deserve better.Shut him down.

T---this team should try to cash in NOW by trading everyone you can including Paul George for expiring garbage and a couple 1st round picks...remember you signed him as a FA so you did not use any draft capital or players to acquire so by simply getting a couple 1st (with some protection) is a PLUS and it helps to RESET your salary cap availability to some degree.....tyen in tye off season I would also trade Embiid...trust me some NBA team will absolutely roll the dice...again grab expiring contracts, a young player and a couple 1st round picks with protection and move forward..... Build around Maxey and hopefully McCain can get back to 100% although meniscus tears are very tricky...look at Lonzo Ball for example.

The conversation that has to be had is what is the next step. The way things are now is clearly not sustainable by either side. 2-3 games played then 3 weeks rest. I think the next step is a meniscus transplant. It’s what Lonzo Ball had done. It’s either that or retire. The issue is that that procedure has a long rehab so it has to be done now. I believe that is the only way he will be able to continue his career. That is the health conversation that they are talking about. What is the plan for Embiid to be healthy for an entire season? There has to be an intervention on the knee. None of this is working.

I have been a season ticket holder for 26 years. I supported the Sixers through the tank because I had confidence in the organization at that time. I don't trust Daryl Morey. I believe Harden when he said "Daryl Morey is a liar". Joel is damaged goods. Morey wants to hring in old, tired veterans who are hurt as often as Jo. I doubt that I'll renew my tickets for next year. Morey and Josh Harris have broken my heart.
