We need a solid offensive coordinator, I wonder who we draft, needs a veteran staff. Without being negative I would say this seems like we’re doing the same we did when we hired Saleh, maybe only difference is Glenn has had more experience working his way up the ladder so I think he will be a better culture changer. I would hope Glenn can handle the New York media so I’ll try to give him a chance. Go Jets

So excited about the Glenn hire, but if we don’t find the right G.M who meshes perfectly with Glenn, it will be all for not. I’m with you I don’t love hiring the coach before the G.M, unless the new G.M is 1000% on board with the Glenn hire it will be a continuation of what we’ve seen last 14years.

GM Ray Agnew would be my first choice for GM. I honestly research the Lions because they have the better drafts since 2021 when he became Assistant GM. OT Penei Sewell was pick #7 and their entire drafts up into now are the foundation of what the Lions are today. When the Jets fired Joe Douglas I started doing research on Ray Agnew, in fact he's the only prospect whom I did. 2021 3 starters, 1 backup. 2022, 4 starters, 2023, 4 starters 4 backups, 2024 1 starter, 1 backup. Ranges from pick 7 all the way to pick 210 every round he got talent, hardly any misses. Take all the players minus misses which were 12 and it's 65% draft hit rate and not counting players on IR which was 6 beginning at the start of this season, plus the ones who got injured this year. Can't sit here and name every player here, no room, but I have a list. 35 total players drafted, 12 missed, meaning no longer on the roster or IR. Incredible hit rate. By contrast Joe Douglas had drafted a total of 40 players with 10 starters and 30 misses no longer with the team. That's a 25% hit rate. Deplorable, horrible or whatever you want to call it Joe Douglas was terrible at drafting. I love the Lions draft all of them from 2021 until now. They found talent in later rounds. We know Philadelphia, Buffalo, Baltimore and Green Bay can all draft is why they have been as successful going back decades. Give me GM Ray Agnew, he may have only been Assistant GM but he had a hand in the draft process. GM Jon Eric-Sullivan, GM Thomas Dimitroff or possibly GM Chris Spielman but he hasn't been with the Lions long, but he's got to know something

I love this Arron glen is the guy you want no promises with a first time HC but I love it former jets star coming home knows how to win worked his way up and is almost Rex Ryan ish unlike Saleh who was a walking door mat love this hire fr we are the jets so this will blow up somehow probably but hey that’s life as a jets fan can’t wait to hopefully see them prove me wrong 🎉

The one thing so many jet fans seem to want to ignore is that Woody Johnson is clearly the real general manager and head of football operations for this team. Would it not have been far better to bring in a legitimate general manager, and let him at least have some say in who the head coach of this team is going to be, besides Woody Johnson saying so?! To me, this is another wash, rinse, repeat of everything we've seen in the last 10 years. It is dysfunction from the very top, and the fish always stinks from the head.

Typical JETS, they can't get out of their own way...hesitation, indecision, delays, letting others catch up and move ahead in off season planning. They had a clear advantage to choose and their hesitation is not a good look. AND, the longer they take to pick an executive; the more difficult draft prep, PRO and College scouting program development, free agency talent evaluations and contract negotiations will become. THIS season it seems is already a mess.
