Well Pete never said women can't have a roll in war. He said they shouldn't be in direct combat as in the infantry a grunt a door kicker. The Marines did a scientific test with 3 groups.All men,mixed and all women.The scientific data said the all male group smashed the other two groups.

I agree with what he said. He commented on a support roll in the TOC (Tactical Operations Center) A SUPPORT ROLE where the commanders hide… I mean command from and instruct those fighting. As a veteran who was a medic in tanks in a rear detachment unit… directly behind the front line… WOMEN DO NOT BELONG IN COMBAT!!! ​@@duanelynch3730

@duanelynch3730 yes Lloyd said the women are excellent support role soldiers. Can't find many men capable of putting 35 and 75 pound rounds into my M1A1 tanks as a commander. Where will you find 1000s of women for that job? And hand to hand combat....well. 23 years of police work. Women are for the most part a liability in direct fighting conditions.

It's an extremely stupid argument. 1, Hesgeth was in the National Guard. Yeah. 4 dead in Ohio. Where the rich kids went so they didn't have to fight overseas. The National Guard who responds to natural disasters. That National Guard. So that's already a poison tree. 2, a rifle doesn't check the gender of who shoots it and the most lethal sniper in the history of the world was a Russian woman. The nastiest sniper in Viet'nam was a woman too. In Mongolia, Khan's female commandos were giving China so much hell that they built a wall, that you can see from outer space, to defend themselves. 3, a bullet's target doesn't know who shot it. 4, there's no combat like Vic Morrow and Rick Jason anymore. I was active duty Army from 1973 to 1976. I am a woman. I always wanted to be in the military. My motto was I wanted to do a man’s job a woman could do so a man could do a man’s job. I served in intel not combat. I never thought women should be in combat. Still don’t.

I'm a woman and wouldn't necessarily want a woman in combat. As we all know, women are built differently (muscle mass) and may fave difficulty with some of the duties (picking up a wounded soldier). Women can absolutely make a great contribution to the military but can serve in other duties rather than combat. Brains can sometimes do more than braun.

Menstrual cycles cause issues, pelvic tilt of hips cause hip fracture when we carry heavy rucksacks. You are only as strong as your weakest link and I do not want my son, who would worry about helping “that female” because I raised him to be a gentleman, to take his focus off of his job. They are a distraction! NO! Start WAC (Women’s Army Corps) again if you feel the need to have women fight. They can endanger themselves!

Lloyd is clueless. Not one soldier has a problem with women in combat. But EVERY soldier has a problem with women being in direct INFANTRY or in any form of SpecWarfare. The physical requirements are excruciating. The psychological effect on a infantry combat unit have a female getting captured, rape tortured and killed would have a chilling effect on those men. They'd be almost uncontrollable towards the enemy. They all have sister's, cousin's, younger aunt's in their families. They'd all feel guilt that the female soldier was killed and want nothing more than avenge her death. Consequences be damned by the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice). That's why. Women in Combat Arms and Combat Arms Support Units ARE excellent. They do it better, cleaner, faster and more efficiently whatever their task/job is. But Infantry/Specwarfare, leave it to us Knuckle-Draggin' man-apes. Ask me, Lloyd should've been kick out on his ass for not strenuously putting his career on the line and disuade stupid ass Biden for entire Afghanistan debacle. Worst tactical move in recent american military history. So, he can go retire now and live with that shame the rest of his life. I bet his west point fellow graduates don't even acknowledge his liberal ass anymore.

This dude is a clown , data says otherwise Marines did a test at the tactical level and the result was not even close. You have men that go to Ranger School and Special Forces Selection with no preparation and pass regularly, meanwhile you have to train women up for months to do the same thing at a much lower pass rate, their is no comparison. The other thing is why would you hire someone that gets pregnant and doesn't have to deploy or do anything for 2 years due to regulations designed to prop up a false reality that is not a good decision that works against having manpower.

As someone who was a heavy weapons infantryman and also served in a Battalion S3 I can say from my experience that their is a massive difference working in a TOC and being on the Gun. He is saying nothing about direct combat. Operations center and direct fire duties are two way different things and worlds.

The Ukraine battlefield is showing us that military arms in combat is more about fighting intelligently than utilizing physical prowess . The Ukrainians are "combat technicians " on the front line and women can serve as well or better. Biologically women are better able to handle long term stress than men and utilize both sides of their brains in a more integrated fashion. Mere physical strength is not as needed as one might think.
