I really admire Sreenivasan. The spirit and the gist of his message makes complete sense to me. Some points he mentions, like the reference to a special sun sensitive adaptation on the body of Indian cows obviously remains unknown to me - but I am sure he could explain it more if we get to ask him. I tried to search that up on the internet - but could not find any leads. Given that this man is an intelligent person, I am willing to wait and find out what he meant. As for his comments on Cancer, he may have points. As listeners, it is for each of us to individually take or leave points from these interviews. The topic presses different buttons in different people. As for me, I am now going to read the book about cancer named "Emperor of Maladies" by Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee - a book that I bought a while ago but never opened to read :-)

Please listen to Dr.Rajiv Dixit lectures on Swadesi Chikitsa in hindi to overcome various health problems. What Mr.Srinivasan says absolutely correct. we should switch over to Gobar 15 kg, Gomutra,15 litre Jaggery Ikg, Ikg Pulses powder, Ikg soil taken from a Banyan tree. Put them in a and keep it for fifteen days in a drum and mix it with 200 litres of water and spread it in one acre plot. if you do it every 21 days you will get 3 to 4 times produce as recommended by Dr.Rajiv Dixit.

വൈറ്റമിന്‍ സി കോവിഡിനെ പ്രതിരോധിക്കുമെന്ന നടന്‍ ശ്രീനിവാസന്റെ പ്രസ്‌താവനക്കെതിരെ ഡോക്‌ട‌ര്‍മാര്‍. വൈറ്റമിന്‍ സി കോവിഡിന് പ്രതിരോധം ആകുമെന്ന് പരിയാരം മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജിലെ ഡോക്‌ടര്‍മാര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു എന്നാണ് ശ്രീനിവാസന്‍ മാധ്യമം പത്രത്തിലെ എഡിറ്റോറിയല്‍ പേജിലെഴുതിയ ലേഖനത്തില്‍ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതൊക്കെ തുറന്ന് പറയുന്നവര്‍ തെറ്റുകാരാകുന്ന അവസ്ഥയാണെന്നും ജയിലില്‍ കിടക്കാന്‍ താത്പര്യമില്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ താനും കൂടുതല്‍ പറയുന്നില്ലെന്നുമാണ് ‘മനുഷ്യന്‍ പഠിക്കാത്ത പാഠങ്ങള്‍’ എന്ന ലേഖനത്തില്‍ ശ്രീനിവാസന്‍ പറഞ്ഞുവെക്കുന്നത്. യഥാര്‍ത്ഥത്തില്‍ പരിയാരം മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജിലെ കാര്‍ഡിയോളജി വിഭാഗത്തിലെ ഡോക്ടര്‍ എസ്എം അഷ്റഫിന്റെ പേരിലിറങ്ങിയ വ്യാജസന്ദേശമാണ് ഇതെന്നും ഇതിനെതിരെ ഡോക്‌ടര്‍ സൈബര്‍ സെല്ലില്‍ പരാതി നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്‌തിരുന്നെന്നും ആരോഗ്യരംഗത്തുള്ളവര്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുന്നു. വ്യാജ സന്ദേശമാണ് ശ്രീനിവാസന്‍ പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതെന്നും ദയവു ചെയത് സാമൂഹ്യ ദ്രോഹമായ പ്രചരണം നടത്തരുതെന്നുമാണ് ശ്രീനിവാസനോട് ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നത്. ”പരിയാരം മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജിലെ ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ അടക്കം വിദഗ്ധര്‍ വൈറ്റമിന്‍ സി കൊവിഡിന് പ്രതിവിധിയാണെന്ന് പറയുന്നുണ്ട്. വൈറ്റമിന്‍ സി ശരീരത്തിലെ ജലാംശം ആല്‍ക്കലൈന്‍ ആക്കി മാറ്റും. അപ്പോള്‍ ഒരു വൈറസിനും നില നില്‍ക്കാനാവില്ലെന്ന് അവര്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുന്നു. പക്ഷേ അമേരിക്ക പോലുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ ആദ്യം തന്നെ ഈ വാദത്തെ എതിര്‍ത്തു. അവര്‍ക്ക് മരുന്നുണ്ടാക്കി വില്‍ക്കുന്നതിലാണ് താല്‍പര്യം. ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടനയും നമ്മുടെ ഐഎംഐയും അതിനെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ്”, എന്നാണ് ശ്രീനിവാസന്‍ ലേഖനത്തില്‍ പറയുന്നത്. ”ചെന്നൈയില്‍ ഒരു സ്‌കാനിങ്‌ മെഷീന്‍ കണ്ടു. ജപ്പാന്റേതാണ്. കൈപ്പത്തിമാത്രം വച്ച് ദേഹം മുഴുവന്‍ സ്‌കാന്‍ ചെയ്യാം. നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടില്‍ വലിയ ഗുഹയ്ക്കുള്ളില്‍ എന്നത് പോലെ ആളുകളെ കയറ്റിയാണ് സ്‌കാന്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നത്. അങ്ങനെ പേടിപ്പിച്ച് സ്‌കാന്‍ ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ നല്ല പണം വാങ്ങാം. ഇവിടെ നഖത്തിനും മുടിക്കും വരെ വേറെ വേറെ ഡോക്ടര്‍മാരാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ ജപ്പാനില്‍ എല്ലാ രോഗവും ഒരു ഡോക്ടര്‍ തന്നെയാണ് ചികിത്സിക്കുന്നത്. ഹോമിയോപ്പതി ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ പലരും പറയുന്നു കൊവിഡിന് അവരുടെ കയ്യില്‍ മരുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന്, ശരിയോ തെറ്റോ ആകാം. അതൊന്ന് പരിശോധിച്ച് നോക്കാന്‍ പോലും നമ്മുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയം തയ്യാറല്ല. ഇതൊക്കെ തുറന്ന് പറയുന്നവര്‍ തെറ്റുകാരാകുന്ന അവസ്ഥയാണ്. ജയിലില്‍ കിടക്കാന്‍ താത്പര്യമില്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ ഞാനും കൂടുതല്‍ പറയുന്നില്ല. നല്ലതിനായി മാത്രം കാത്തിരിക്കാം ”, എന്നും ശ്രീനിവാസന്‍ ലേഖനത്തില്‍ പറയുന്നു. ശ്രീനിവാസന്റെ ഈ വാദങ്ങള്‍ക്കെതിരെ വിമര്‍ശനവുമായി ആരോഗ്യപ്രവര്‍ത്തകനായ ഡോക്‌ടര്‍ ജിനേഷ് പി എസും രംഗത്ത് വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. മുന്‍പൊരിക്കല്‍ മരുന്നുകള്‍ കടലില്‍ വലിച്ചെറിയണം എന്ന് പത്രത്തില്‍ എഴുതിയ വ്യക്തി ആണ് ശ്രീനിവാസനെന്നും എന്നിട്ട് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഒരു അസുഖം വന്നപ്പോള്‍ കേരളത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും മുന്തിയ ആശുപത്രികളിലൊന്നില്‍ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച ചികിത്സ തേടിയെന്നും ഇദ്ദേഹമാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ വീണ്ടും വ്യാജപ്രചരണങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തുന്നതെന്നും ഡോക്ടര്‍ ജിനേഷ് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുന്നു.
