If your u-joint yolk is straight and does not pivot at all as it is rotating it will not survive high speed. There is a preferred angle you'll want to stay near to if you plan on going fast.

I think the horizontal axis is more offset then the vertical axis.... I'm assuming it could be either axis that your referring ? Thanks for your comment

Are you referring to the u joint coming off the trans ?.... This is all low speed stuff anyway... Did you notice what powers this Jeep ?

To your point... If I decided to put a higher output motor/motors... Then it would be beneficial to put a lift in the suspension to get more of an angle... That's a great idea or reason to lift it...👍

The first chain already has a half link in it swap that for a full link

It has both.... How would you connect a full link to replace the half... Isn't the full link the outer part of the chain ?

You would have to use a chain breaker to split the chain at the half link and link with out allowing the pins to fall out so you can reassemble at the end take some spare chain and get the dude at local motor cycle shop do it in 10 min
