Question- have you found an age limit on filament? I'm sure its been covered someplace but all I've seen is just talk of drying it out. I'm curious on breakdown/chemical breakdown. Thank you.

It seems like it's all over the place. I have seen some PLA that doesn't make is even a year before its just a bag full of broken pieces. Others I have had for 5+ years and they are just fine. ABS seems completely unaffected by age in my experience.

Well French Cleats require brackets so that the ReRack Holder is supported on 3 points rather than what you have now, just one.
@ChrisRiley2 ай бұрын
The hanger is aligned on the stud to support it.

Do you have any humidity issues with the open air spools? I'd think a basement would have the worst humidity issues.
@ChrisRileyАй бұрын
Sometimes yes, most of the time I try to keep PETG in a container. I do end up drying a lot of filaments before I use them.

Here in OZ if I were to purchase 350 spools of PLA and have them delivered from Prague it would cost me A$26,361.95. Over A$10,000.00 of that total price is just the delivery charge. Then on top of that I would get slugged an import duty tax of around 30% which would bring the total figure of A$34,270.53 landed at my local international airport. Why the airport and not my front door you ask? Well, here in OZ FedEx do not deliver to residential addresses, they just send you a notification telling you your package has arrived in country and you have to go to their facility at the international airport to pick it up lol

7 1x4's lumber ... that's ~19mm x 90mm, right? How that's fit into "RepRapHanger" slot which is only about 55mm wide?
@ChrisRiley4 ай бұрын
7 1/4's ripped down into14 French cleats that are 1.5" x 0.75" 38mmx19mm.
