Man…. There was so much 37 Pattern webbing on the market in the late 90’s, it was unbelievable. You could buy complete sets in unissued condition for $100 or less, and $50 and down for used sets. There was so much of it around, I don’t think anyone would have believed that reproduction sets would ever be manufactured.

Great video! Can you explain how you are supposed to attach the haversack to the web belt as you would if carrying the large pack?
@thehistoadian

To attach the haversack to the belt you use the "suspender" ends and attach it through the buckles on the haversack, it's kind of complicated to explain but Britishmuzzleloaders has an excellent video and demonstrates it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKSli6duZahsg9E Sometime in the future I'll probably do my own video on it aswell, hope this helps and thanks for watching!

I liked your video, and I think I would like to buy some reproduction web gear. I have found two makers, one is Kay Canvas, and the other being General service Equipment. The Kay Canvas is made in a Khaki color, General service Equipment comes in green. I’m wondering if you have any preference in makers, and what color do you think is more correct for W.W.2?

I own some Kay Canvas and to my knowledge it's the most common reproduction P37 webbing people use. Typically when P37 webbing is produced it is a light khaki colour and when issued to soldiers it would often have "Blanco" placed onto it. Blanco is basically a protective layer which also gives the webbing it's colour coming in a variety of colours such as dark green, Pea green, khaki, black, white, etc. Some soldiers didn't Blanco their webbing though. If you want the most correct reproduction webbing I'd go with Kay Kansas, as it would also give a wider range of us. Hope this helps!
