PS I do tackle the endocrine system in this session / hormonal imbalance but a session specific to menopause can only help further. Sometimes the mind-body needs to hear the message more than one way.

Sarah a menopause video would be helpful to many. I just have to mention that a video that is healing for women's issues like period pain, endometriosis, mood swings, PMS/PMT, etc might be helpful as well "healing a woman's body in challenging moments". I often get stuck in seeing my bodys reactions (pain, swelling, tension, pins and needles, tiredness or fatigue, aches, etc) as an enemy to fight at all costs rather than a natural response that is highlighting something that needs to change. I'm starting to see the symptoms as like a page marker waiting for attention. Instead of "sign here" my body is marking an area, asking me to pay more attention when I'm using it. Blessings, Dot

I've been going through this almost 2 years now. 😔 I'm too sick to be prescribed hormones, so I just have to deal with my own crazy hormone fluctuations and night sweats, etc. Your voice is so soothing, and this one is one of my favorites!! I've been trying to overcome severe chronic sleep issues (sometimes only 3-4 hours a night) for years. This plus health issues has limited me severely. Hopefully consistent use of this will help. I am determined 💪

Hi I’ve just found this video after being awake since about 3 am this morning uk time , I suffer with severe anxiety and emotionally unstable personality disorder borderline type. So I feel after years at therapy I’m at breaking point, I get hot sweats a lot I’m 78 so it’s I’m sure anxiety related, I was on zopiclone for years to help with sleep, but even they didn’t help in the end, so I’m not on anything now I’m so desperate for sleep as this is making my anxiety so much worse, I go off to sleep quite easily but wake automatically after about 3 hours and can never go back to sleep, I tell my therapist but she just says get up and do something but I’m so exhausted after so much of this I just get more exhausted and low, I feel at breaking point then up goes the anxiety levels because I feel out of control now, I hope you don’t mind me off loading on here but I feel desperate as I’m so alone, thank you for your time and kindness to take time to do this , 🙏💕

I'm so sorry you are suffering with insomnia and from anxiety. While I don't know the root cause of your anxiety, oftentimes this can lead to a general feeling of needing to be assured of safety and security at night. This really works well! As we age, we get less sleep. We still need it, but it doesn't happen. My stress is from not knowing where my next meal is coming from since all our grocery stores moved out, trying to keep a roof over my head, saving the life of my best and roomie, health issues, social and spiritual abandonment with possible abuse, lack of transportation, cleanliness issues, and low levels of daily comfort and security. Kids have it easy, though it's NOT easy - just to learn how to handle worse, later. Anyway, I had a good night's sleep for the first time in what seems like YEARS after listening to this video! Thank you. I will be listening again. It is just what I needed.💜💜

This is not my first time listening one of your videos and I usually love them. I listened to this one for the first time last night and I had terrible nightmares though 😰 is that something that can happen? Could it be one of the blockages being released? Was it just a coincidence? I would like to hear your opinion, I don't know if I should try it again or try a different one... Thanks!

Thank you for asking 💛. Questions are an invitation and open up a path to understanding. I hope I can both explain and help reassure you that you are on the right track. Disturbing dreams generally are a sign of emotional "gangrene" and toxicity. being released. Imagine that you have an infected wound. It doesn't bother you unless you touch it or poke at it. If you don't touch it and move in a way that you don't need to feel it, although you are limited in movement, you can still live and do most things. You can managed and you feel fine unless you or someone else or some circumstance presses or pokes on this spot. But how to get rid of it. It needs to come to the surface. There are different ways to deal with this and there are many options. But a client (listener) may spontaneously abreact. This happens all the time in private practice. Even when I am there with a client, they may continue to process in dreams as they release the emotional gangrene. And soon enough, and I mean in a matter of days, the dreams will become peaceful. A matter of days to release years of a toxic behaviour or limiting belief. I hope that helps explain. I do not wish for any uncomfortable experience for anyone. But we cannot find the light without seeing our own shadow too. You cannot be healthy until you release the toxicity and dis-ease. Hope this helps, Sarah

Thank you Sarah🫶 lately I’ve been really struggling to sleep even though i meditate every day and before i sleep and i reach to a blank phase where no stress or thoughts in my head and yet i cant fall asleep or AP like before Appreciate any advice 🫶

Meditation can help reach a state of calm but isn't always the same as retraining the brain for sleep. It's a deeper level. The way I think of insomnia (and I speak as someone who suffered from horrendous bouts of insomnia for 10+ years before I turned to hypnotherapy as a last resort) is the brain has just lost the habit. Even after the stress has passed, the brain can't reset itself. It's like a vinyl record running at twice the speed but after a while, the abnormal seems normal because it is familiar, right? And the effects are both neurological and chemical (hormonal). This session tackles the root cause and you may want to tackle the issue from a few angles. Ask yourself when this started: was it stress or another cause (it's not always stress)? Then ask yourself what are the techniques you have heard from my and other channels that work for you (beach or forest, guided imagery, countdown or no countdown)? Listen to what appeals to you the most and forget about quieting the mind. The beauty of hypnotherapy that I keep mentioning is you do not need to fight with your mind to be quiet. Just let it chatter and at some point it will either go quiet or you will fall asleep. Unlike meditation, hypnosis does not demand silence to be effective. Lastly, sleep hygiene is often mentioned but many still break the basic rules. Let's deal with the basics: no caffeine after 1pm, no screens in the bedroom, ever. If anything, read an actual printed book, no blue screen and no audio either. Have a ritual of a wind down routine. Shut down work with purpose. This means no late night checking of email. No heavy meals late at night. Certainly no caffeine or alcohol. Take a half teaspoon of magnesium powder. It's amazing. Have curtains or blinds on the windows and close them all. Ensure the air is cool enough and ensure your extremities are cooler than your core (the body notices these things). If you find you don't fall asleep after an hour, get up and do a boring task, one you do not like, then go to bed again after 15 minutes. Strict 15 minutes. Do this again and again. The task you do cannot be fun or engaging. I say this not to punish you but to simply engage the mind in an unstimulating way. My intent is always, always to help you. Also ensure there are no secondary gains: is there any reason you want to stay awake or feel the need to stay awake? I'll be writing a couple more blog articles to provide more support. I am on a strict rules when i want to sleep, it isnt stress , i dont drink al cohol but i used drink coffee a LOT.. now i am reducing my dose of it and i hope by the coming days i will stop drinking it after 1 pm will you be publishing the articles on other platforms also?
