Do the zen habitat enclosures have locks on them? I would be concerned about my adult ball python pushing it open and escaping.
@reptiliangarden4 жыл бұрын
They don’t come with locks, but the doors slide into panels which make it impossible to open unless you’re on the front using a knob. You just have to make sure you use the solid plug in the back and not the one that allows cords through it. That would definitely leave potential for a snake escaping. For extra security you can use a window lock on the door!

I think milksnakes and cornsnakes just aren't particularly fond of warmth in general. Mine (3 years old) has a similar setup with lots of hides and a warm side with under heating from heat pads, but I swear he never leaves his main hide on the cold side. The most I see him on the outside is actually at night when he gets active, which is pretty much the only time I ever see him on the warm side...

Great video! I love the video! Make sure to check your lizards poops when feeding black soldier fly larvea. Although they are very healthy and nutricious, they are for most lizards super hard to digest. I lost a babie bearded dragon bc I fed it BSFL, babies lizards should never get them. Most adult lizards can get them like once a few months but they're absolutly no staple feeder. ☺️

The humidity and warm and cool spots. And (Mites and parasites). I have some beautifull pics of Oily. She likes cool areas. I use a swiming area in my enclosure. Cold water like 12 degrees celsius.
