Stopping land development entirely seems unrealistic. Like what Alex said, there are too many other factors outside of what is best for the environment that people need to take in to account. Giving up is not an option either because, like Tino mentioned, if no one fights for it nothing will ever change. I’m definitely not claiming to have the answers, but the only way to see progress is if we work within the constraints we are given. Stopping land development isn’t an option, but maybe we can find ways to slow it down, or we can find ways to mitigate the damages done to gopher tortoises. Somewhere in the middle might be the best path forward.

In my opinion it’s beneficial to have a couple different bloodlines going so that you have forever unrelated babies given you hold back to work on line projects, or whatever the case is you know you have quality you know where they come from and then people have options of bloodlines ❤️
