I am glad that there are programs to help those animals. I hope that perceptions will change for more people and they will get reconnected to nature’.

Oddly enough I heard they're endangered now..used to see them a lot in my grandparents lawn, saw one wandering around a bus stop at Papine last year too so they're still around but not too common

The Green Anole, AKA Green Gwana (spell check) is another persecuted lizard in Jamaica, because people associated it with duppies and Obeah.

It always hurt me that it takes people from other parts of the world to go to Jamaica to try and save these wild animals. How long will it take for regular Jamaican to understand the importance of nature to humanity ?

This is very important and interesting, but what about the divers And the fisherman How would you protect them? How would you encourage them? If they are attacked by one of these big crocodiles 🐊 This is always going to give fear in others that love fishing. because if this crocodile get out in the wiles and began to have a lot of baby's This can be dangerous.

People have to learn to live along side with nature. Every animal can learn to respect man if man learn to respect them. I went on a Safari tour on The Back River about 20 years ago and I saw local fishermen spearfishing in the same water with large crocodiles. They told us that they were not afraid of them because they have mutual respect for each other. If father teach son these skills, then those who rely on the wilds for a living won't have to live in fear of wild animals. The change starts with us.

You are in their homes not the other way around, it's not their responsibility to cater to your fears and your protection

These crocodiles 🐊 already infested the small island of Jamaica 🇯🇲 I have been out fishing trust me some time fear comes upon me. Because some of these waters can't be trusted a lot of crocodiles 🐊 in most of these waters already. A lot of former cattle are missing because of crocodiles 🐊 and they did not get paid for it. Is the crocodiles 🐊 more important or human beings? I understand that everything has its purposes in life. But these things are dangerous.alot people have been attack by these crocodiles 🐊 Soon are later some you who taking care of them if you not careful you going to get eating by your own crocodiles 🐊

The animals balance the ecosystems that we as people rely on..if they go extinct it has a domino effect that affects people also..the government are the ones who need to figure out how to protect the people directly, which they've been failing at sadly.

It's people who are killing people. The last crocodile attack on a person in Jamaica was 2018. It was also the first attack in almost two decades. How many murders occurred every year? Don't answer that. Crocodile is not your problem, other humans are.
