Wow, amazing to find this. I was actually in the audience for this show. This show was actually taped in September, 1996 and Tom Brokaw was the main guest. Loved the song and got the CD after seeing them live.

Saffron of Republica is one of those magically gifted sirens from the 90s ( eg., Jewel, Tori Amos, Alannis Morrisette, Siouxsie Q, etc.) whose live performance is nearly as engaging as her metronome-driven, camera frenzied videos....Three other things I like about this particular performance 1) I really dig the back up vocals 2) I love the "Rhythm Heritage" sound of the instruments and 3) Let's face it: Saffron is as hot as she is vocally gifted, with more than a flair for just the right theatrical moment....In essence, she's f-g awsome!
