The analysis of your guest is a bit weird. Why does he compare modern times to the 1930s and says - isolation did not turn out well for Europe and the US. Yes because the 2020s are just like the 1930s. ...it's silly. World war 2 had its direct origin in the world war 1. Without World War 1 there would be no Hitler and perhaps World War 2. Because the First World War basically "created" Hitler and shaped his worldview. Besides we live in a global connected world and powerful states have nukes. In the 1930s people did not have these things. Another huge problem is the American imperialism. America wants to dominate and control the entire planet. Russia and China don't want to bend the knee and America is furious.
