As an Asian, as a Chinese, as your fan, and more importantly as someone whose friend’s friend has caught the coronavirus in Thailand I do not suggest you going there at this moment. Especially in hotels in Bangkok there are a lot of international students staying there to try to go back to Australia for studying. Played Republique on ranks the other day, had 170k dmg, 2.3k base exp, high caliber and I was thinking I carried the team. In the end results I was third on my team, 2nd had 2.7k base exp and high caliber, 1st had 3k base exp and high caliber. Never before seen 3 players on same team have high caliber.

Have just used all my reports on one game as just myself in an Alaska and just one of the DD's capped, everybody else just hid behind islands. 4 BB were just sitting a click away from B but all refused to move, we lost on points with just 3 casualties each... really peed me off :)

When I see French battleships on the enemy team when I'm in my Des Moines, I'm relieved. I can bowtank against all of them except the République and their armor is weak to HE. But that's just my perspective.

I liked all of them, Richelieu was my favorite, but I don't like my Republique. Played 15 battles with her in roughly 1 year, most in the first month when I got her. And while I have 150k avg dmg I'm still at 0%WR.

I am talking about the Republique ad Alsace got nerfed hard. Alsace however is faster and somewhat harder than Rep. To my experience the speed is not that great. However, with speed boost you can quickstart, you can see many people doing this, sniping back at range and start moving quickly as a Yamato take a shot at them. As Flamu told, the range is great, and you can use it to hit enemy cruisers as the shells are fckin fast. I shot the turrets one by one, not at the exact same spot but trying to figure out his move. This ensures some hits which hurts. For me she is the best cruiser killer, very hard to dodge her shells, they overmatch them, hitting very hard, good accuracy, 14500 alpha, quick reload. The ship is all about the guns, even at range, plus it has speed, and very strong AA.

Just well played. On a second note; you explained your actions clearly. Sure you can rant on the team, but it is what it is. Say they were better, and not as potato, who would that solve the situation since you would expect the enemy team evenly been better and it still would come down to your own game play to manage the leverage to win the game. So calling the team out for being what they are is only a circle jerk in the end. Still this is something you only learn, if you think it through. In the moment you will blame the teammates for decisions they take and they have their impact, but for what it is worth, the joy comes from playing the best to your own ability in the end. If you don't do well overall you are the one to blame and nobody else.

the legendary mod on rep is actualy amazing, yes, you lose range, but when a bb operates around 20/15km mark from target, there is better dispersion, and having 8 430mm guns with a 19sec or so cooldown, it destroys stuff at a frightening rate, even more so when the AR kicks in, the range you lose only works against you in early battle and you lose the ability to snipe, but it aint all so bad!

I use legendary on Kurfürst and republique too. I guess it is all about the personal Playstyle. I am a Brawler and i have Problems hittig stuff beyond 20 km. So i just move close with my Cruisers and then open Fire. Works very well.

The range loss is especially painful on Repu as she can hit things over 20 km reliably. I agree with Flamu you give up too much with the range, so many opportunities like Hindenburgs(big and slow, getting overmatched), some Des Moines hurrying to his camping rock, get his citadel, as the CV does early spotting.

So that team was pretty much just Flamu and 11 damage sponges. BTW, now that we've learned that bigger max range also means better vertical dispersion (sounds weird but it's true, check out the dispersion reverse engineered post on reddit), Repu legendary upgrade seems even worse. That 24% range loss is something like 10% increase in vertical dispersion.

Republique is my 3th T10 main line ship and my first T10 BB, the ship is very good but with Bourgogne, Thunderer, Kremlin and Ohio even this ships don't have the range or the speed of the Republique ( except the Bourgogne in this case is gun caliber and range) they just do the work better.
