Brilliant film Gaz. Superbly filmed and the music perfectly blended with the video. Magical how the sun caught the steam from the vent. I always find that south east corner of the gardens to be the most atmospheric, by the catacombs. A couple were raided by grave robbers in the late 19th century, they are the ones sealed up with newer bricks. Superb film, well done Gaz. Cheers, Mike

Great cemetery tours did one many years ago as we came out my wife rang me on mobile my jingle is you'll never walk alone tour was in fits

I took a walk through here after college one night with my friend. As we walked down towards the tunnel that leads into the place we saw a young man wearing a cloak walking through the tunnel lighting candles and putting them in little holes in the walls. As we walked past him me and my friend looked at each other with a look of concern. It’s quite a spooky place after dark.

How old is the cemetery? Just curious about how far back the grave markers go. The path through the dark wood starting at about 1:08 is eerie. Thank you for sharing!

I think it was built around 1825 the cemetery, over 57,000 burials there, a grade 1 listed park now. Lots of interesting history, it was there before the cathedral which building work was started early 1900s , it's a great place to visit, thanks for watching 👍ATB

That place always intrigued me Gaz. I was told many years ago (early 90's) that it was dodgy at night and predominantly full of heads. Great to look around finally. All the best. Mark

It's ok in the gardens, you get a lot of different people visiting , it's especially nice in the day time on a nice day , toxteth is nearby, it gets a bad reputation , if you stick to the cathedral gardens you should be fine , especially if there's more than one of you together and your not alone. 👍
