I worked in accounting and made a CAREER in cleaning up messes!!! People in accounting keep their jobs and get promoted if they ARE LIKED!!! When they SCREW UP then they find someone else to come in a fix the mess!!! Once the mess is fixed you don't get the person's job, YOU GET FIRED and the cycle will begin again!!! Accountants ALWAYS try to find SUCKERS to do all the work!!!

I find it funny that Aaron is politically conservative and I am politically liberal, but I still find myself agreeing with him and his common sense advice most of the time. As to this video, he's right conforming will make you successful, but it damn sure won't make you happy. That's why, I think, your closest friends should be non work related. I used to benefit from this although I never considered myself alpha and still don't. But I was a complete fuck up at this one company and it's like everyone wanted me at their departments. I talked more about what I did than actually doing work and no one ever saw it. I lied whenever I got in trouble by simply saying, "nah I didn't do that.'' Also I was high much of the time. I've NEVER had a job go so well. This lasted for years. I mean, there was an older family member of mine in the same company having it 3 times harder.

The funniest one I have every seen is a 17 year old girl start, 20 minutes later the 54 MD invites her into his office, about half an hour later she is his girlfriend, and 6 months later she is a director with 5% of the shares. In all fairness there was no negativity towards her, it was almost an all male office and she was good looking lol.

I dont know but I've had the exact opposite happen to me. I'm overweight (probably obese) not good looking and have social anxiety but when I would go to work and bust my ass, it felt like the bosses(managers) would let me get away with certain things. I didn't have to follow the same rules as everybody else. For example, I was allowed to listen to music while everybody else couldn't, i even had a manager yell at someone to take off their headphones in front of me while I'm still sitting there jamming. The manager even told me (to my face after the other guy left) that I am allowed to do whatever because I'm such a hard worker. She was a nice lady
