To me this performance showed a lot of respect to their host country and their fans there. They’re not fluent in Spanish, and Spanish has sounds that don’t exist in Korean, so they must have worked very hard.

It definitely shows respect, especially if they're not fluent. They sounded really good, so it would have been incredibly hard to get this right, especially with an older, more traditional sounding song. Amazing work from them and shows how professional they are. Even if the song isn't my favorite or my style, I love the work they put into this.

How about takes a look at "SI FUERAS MIA" as credited to D.O. as original singer from his first solo AP album's EMPATHY, a multi languages album with Korean-English-Spanish songs! SI FUERAS MIA had been sit for over ten year w/o singer which was finally submitted to SM when they searched for music as part of D.O. solo-debut in 2021.
