I love the name "Meshach!" Harry Potter truly saved me from dark times in my life. Without a doubt, no matter what trauma I was going through, I could always pick up a HP book, escape to the world of "the boy who lived" and be in a happier place. As I got older, I found Middle Earth, Frodo, and the One Ring. Another amazing adventure! Harry Potter book #1 was the book that got me into reading. It opened up other worlds and experiences to me. I was introduced to Harry Potter by my 5th grade teacher who read the books to us. Then I revisited them during my high school years and multiple times as an adult. I get something different out of them during these phases of my life. I love seeing people’s first reactions reading Harry Potter. Jim Dale brings SO MUCH emotion and passion to the audiobooks. The last time I did my reread, I did via audiobooks and he just took it to another level. Also, RIP Sir Michael Gambon, our second beloved Dumbledore. Azkaban will always be my top choice. Being an animal lover, animagus was amazing to me. And then we have the Maurauder’s Map. Idk, those two blew me away. I love the rest all equally 😂 I can’t and won’t tier rank the rest.

My favorite of the series is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban because it gives us another character for Harry to know more about his parents and another of Harry's father's best friends from school. I've read the series several times since I started reading this series when I was thirteen. It is such a fun series to get into every time. I went to the Harry Potter World at the Universal Park with my daughter and it was such a great experience to see it come to life.

I felt the exact same way about Goblet of Fire! It took me the longest of all of them to read because I just didn't care enough about the tournament. Then you watch the movie and its like, "why didn't I care again cause I'm into it now." lol

My favorite book is The Prisoner of Azkaban (# 3) because it’s when Harry is still innocent. The Goblet of Fire ( # 4) at the end Harry experiences something horrible and I feel like his innocence is lost because of that. Also at #4 I also feel that Harry Potter is no longer for young readers.

I do think every Harry Potter fan should read it at least once to get their own feelings on it, and copies are pretty cheap used so, it's something to consider :) I don't expect anyone would love it but, there are some great moments, and some terrible ones.

Ok, seriously, it took me a few years after all the books and movies,the hype for me to think about picking up Harry Potter. I remember being asked by a good friend who loves to read as well, Did you read Harry Potter? Have you?? Will you?? I cave in said ok yes I'll give it a shot, since i didn't had the books, next morning I arrive to work and there is this tote bag sitting with gorgeous hardcover Harry Potter complete set,and I got sucked into the magical world of Harry and Lord Voldermont!! After I finished, I actually had a hungover. 😂 I didn't read any books for little while cause I kept thinking about the whole adventure!! It was a good time. ❤ Enjoy 😊

As a Christian, how do you feel about it that it calls bad and demonic (HP books and movies)? I loved HP and now I’m scared

Being filled with the Spirit and having discernment from the Word, I feel fine. HP is a story. The author didn’t write those books as a n act of defiance against God, and she herself is not a witch. There are some dark themes, sure, but knowing that it’s fiction helps to remind me that it’s harmless. None of the things discussed throughout the books can be duplicated are sought out in the real world.
