I also like that the bulbs are replaceable so you can easily swap them into colored LEDs or just white LEDs if you want them to just as long as you find the right bulb size that actually has LEDs in them

I wouldn't say it's *completely* unlike anything else by SEGA, in a way it kinda is Activator (or whatever it was called, that useless sensor ring "motion control" thing for the Genesis/MD) meets Simon. Kinda.

I wonder if you could swap out the bulbs for different colored LED's, similar to a pinball game...
@PunakiviAddikti5 жыл бұрын
If it doesn't use LEDs, then I imagine it senses height by using either ultrasound or Doppler radars. Both are used for motion sensing.

sega activator was cool too though. one of my dreams is to see somebody performing a brutality in umk3 with that thing. that must be a beautiful sight.
@CommodoreFan648 жыл бұрын
+Skyk0rn I think this is where this item came from since they put a good bit of development dollars into the Activator which ended up not selling too well, and they thought maybe they could make back some of the money from that project by reusing, and repackaging the tech.

That's really weird!
@isaacbrinson89048 жыл бұрын
So basically this thing is the germophobe's Simon Says?
@redstonecommander519010 ай бұрын
Now the reason why it just detected not so good accuracy is probably because you played pods in very bright light. Make sure that whenever you want to have the highest accuracy, don’t play pods in bright light and don’t play in the sun outside just play it indoors in light..That’s kinda dim
@redstonecommander519010 ай бұрын
As long as you do that, then the sensors will have no problem measuring the accuracy of hand height and you might have a possibility of beating pro mode

Even though Sega pods is extremely strange, and some people might think it’s the worst game that was ever released by Sega. I think it’s pretty unique is when Sega first takes on having an actual electronic game. That’s lights, and sounds only and not having a screen, almost like they are falling into Milton Bradley or Tigger electronics footsteps
@redstonecommander519010 ай бұрын
But they didn’t go that very heavily and they decided to just stick with video games
@some-online-dude8 жыл бұрын
No, it isn't a "really strange system unlike anything else they've made". It's a reduced version of the SEGA Activator.
