I love, love, love your "detective skills". I too go down rabbit holes. I've worked on our family genealogy since 1979 and it never gets old - digging for information and documents and stories. I'm also a criminal investigator (with a federal public defender office) so I also do similar things at work. I could watch an entire channel of your searches and finds. I loved that you're involved with the local historical society!!!!

Cool video. I spent a lot of time in that area growing up from the late 60's on. There are countless resorts in that area that are stuffed with vintage resort-related items that bring back memories for those of us that grew up there. Loved the snowmobile patches.

It probably varies in each state I would think ?🤔

In Virginia, you don't need an auctioneers license if you strictly do online auctions. I just needed to get bonded, insured, and a business license.

I just want to say how impressed I am with how much you care about your clients interests. After my dad died we had an auction company come pick up a lg trailer worth of stuff and we owed them $86. We did better just having garage sales. So keep up the good work.
@jonmccormick86836 ай бұрын
Doing a series of garage sales, Craigslist, Facebook, eBay etc is the better way to if you have more time. Keeping receipts for profit/loss is always smart also.

Please be careful when it comes to your employees drinking while they are on the job. You stated in your video that they wanted to get to the restaurant and have a few drinks and you're not a big drinker. However knowing that they are drinking, if they get into an accident or possibly kill someone, they are going to and from a job for your companies. You can be held liable for damage your workers do. It is best to tell them not to drink while they're going to and from the job. Going to a restaurant and bar after the, drinking then you meeting then for dinner, whether you pay for the drinks or not. So please😢

@jonmccormick86836 ай бұрын
That pick-up is worth $500 scrap (2 tons). But it is a Dodge Dakota 4x4 long bed. So 231v6, 318v8, 360(came later). =could probably get $2k+ for it since new pu trucks are pretty expensive and people prefer the older ones since they are simpler to work on. $5k+ if working well.
