my thoughts on this are that the person who called 911 was someone trying to make sure cops came to that area and maybe the mom really was in an abusuve relationship where dad was threatning to harm baby so this was her only option. just a hunch!

Oh goodness. Blessings to everyone in this video, including Cody, and I encourage y’all to have some measure of compassion for his birth parents. It’s terrible on so many levels when a baby is abandoned, but we don’t know the events that led to this incident. One or both of the parents may have been mentally ill or on drugs, or maybe the mom was too young and the dad didn’t want to be/wasn’t in the picture, or maybe his mom and/or dad simply couldn’t support him. There are so many reasons why this could have happened, but the benefit of the doubt should come before judgment. Just be happy that Cody was found and taken care of and loved.

I was hoping there would have been some kind of update on the mother of the baby. The night the officer found the baby, the mother called for help because her boyfriend was beating her up and threatening to kill the baby. So she just doesn’t call to say her infant son is missing?? Really strange situation

"John Doe" is whats often used for an unidentified male, let it be a lone baby or a man unwilling to give his identity to an officer. I don't think many would wanna stick with a name like John Doe
