When I saw Tony get shot, it scared the daylights out of me. I found out 4 years ago, Tony retired from police work. He can never give his comrades enough thanks. I’m sure this is something he’ll tell his grandchildren about. This happened on a Wednesday.

Two suspects were arrested in connection with the shooting and assault of a law enforcement officer. One of the suspects was an escapee from a juvenile detention center. He was found guilty of attempted capital murder and sentenced to life in prison. The other suspect pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

(Sorry I ramble sometimes if you want just ignore what I've written.) It amazes me what lengths people will go to hurt a police officer to avoid arrest. When I was younger *I'm 24 now* I was twelve or so then I wanted to be a cop so bad. My parents hated it and my brothers doubted I'd get in but. Here I am. K-9 unit officer. Life is strange and evil at times but its a gift to have a life to live some people, especially cops, have a life for two minutes until they are shot or killed either in duty (Such as cops and others) or off duty (such as citizens.)

MrSkypony There are still good cops out there. Cops that want to serve and protect. Those few that are bad give the rest a bad reputation. They need to be weeded out wherever they are. Charged, tried, and go to prison if they have broken the law. Not only is no body above the law, police officers should be held to a higher standard.
