PHOENIX and her yearling OLIVE were pulled from a kill pen by the team at Bergen County Horse Rescue and they have been working on rehabbing her after her difficult past. She had limited handling and isn't used to strangers, so we together we share a nice quiet moment and try to get her a little relief.

The leading organization, in my opinion, that has Veterinarians and Chiropractors that become Animal Chiropractors is the Animal Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) They have a website with a "Find a Doctor" tab/database: www.animalchir...
This a good resource for all that are looking for a well trained doctor near them.

It all came down to respect. Dr. Doug respected her fears, pain and experiences and she respected that he stayed calm and went slowly and didn’t give up on her. I just love this man and how he responds to the needs of his patients. Beautiful

This for me was what all of the Dr's sessions really look like. The layers under the usual talking layer. I could feel and see the qi, the chi. Doug is a qigong Master. An absolutely beautiful demonstration of life force being directed through intent, facilitating healing for that dear horse. And anyone else watching who is open to it. Thank you Dr. Stellar work. 🙏🏻

I think after that she has a lot of sleep to catch up on! She looks so relaxed. I swear there are animal angels following Dr. Doug wherever he goes (maybe ones he worked on who passed away) to calm these animals down. You see them focused on one spot for a long time, sometimes. That's got to be an animal angel they are watching. :)

It is so beautifully touching to see Olive (?) develop a level of trust in such a short session. On top of that, I’m grateful for Dr. Cracker realizing the level of care and patience required in order to ‘reach’ Olive, to connect with her. It’s truly a beautiful thing to see. Also, the importance of guiding others around you Dr. Cracker, to be still and quiet while you and the horse are in the zone, the importance of not interrupting the process… you truly have a gift with animals!

As a former chronic headache sufferer and eventual chiropractic patient, I could really connect with this horse. I remember so well the bliss of feeling the headache recede after an adjustment. I'm not sure if I did licking and chewing, but groaning with relief-- absolutely. Loved this video!
