If you've not watched Tinkerbells amazing rescue by Eldad, and family reunion, even the LAFD raced to the rescue. I was peeling onions at the time so i couldn't see clearly for the tears.. Watch it if you haven't only don't peel onions while doing so.

Richard Slawsky Well the owner said he’s a rescue and he’s always been timid so that’s just the way he is. I’ve fostered plenty of dogs like that they end up staying timid because of things that happen in their past.

I have an older female boxer, Lola. We have had her since the day she was born. It would break my heart if she got lost. Yes she is chipped and registered. Lola is my husband and my baby. I’m so glad Max is home. He was so lost and scared. Great job Eldad, team, and all those who helped.

Max is the quiet kind. He kept looking at Eldad with a look that he was trying to figure out who this incredible human was that brought back to his family 😭 Eldad remarked that this was dangerous - not for him (which it was) but for the dog in case he ran out onto the freeway. Great job Eldad and crew! Crawling through sewers filled with spiders and whatnot? You are brave! Thanks for all you do 👍😊

I microchipped my 10yo indoor cat because of Hope For Paws. She snuck out one night recently when we opened the back door to check in a sound. We didn’t realize it until bedtime 90 minutes later. She usually checks in us at bedtime and she didn’t. I called all through the house and could not find her. My husband went outside and found her crouched down along the side of the house. She was microchipped a few weeks later.

I read an article years ago that said when we sing or speak in a sing song manner it stimulates the emotional centers of their brains. Cats, dogs and horses have developed emotional parts of their brains from being around human beings. I actually tamed a wild colt in a matter of an hour by talking to him like a song. Coolest day of my life!

I once had to rescue a white female boxer about 6 months old. I went to where's she was and found a clearly starving dog running around like crazy. She saw me, I called her over and the next thing I knew was she jumped into my arms shaking and wanting to be held like a infant. She was such a good girl and was returned to her grateful owners the next day. Part of me still wishes they hadn't been found and I would have just kept her. Such a wonderful breed, beautiful inside and out

I grew to love senior dogs after mine got old. I felt even closer to him after he aged gracefully. There is something extra special to be in care of a senior dog. I had this feeling that more than ever before he had to rely on me for happiness and care. I lost him a little over a year ago and still miss him everyday. Senior dogs need our love and attention. So happy he is home and safe.
