I'll be honest, though I read the manhwa first, I started reading because I heard about the anime. And as a source material reader, I'm looking forward to more seasons. Of the comic and the show.

I see a lot of ppl complaining that parts were cut out... what did you expect exactly? It was confirmed before the series started it would be 13 episodes. For what they’re doing with the 13 episodes honestly it’s not a BAD ADAPTATION. Is it great to perfect I wouldn’t say that but it’s definitely above average to good. This episode in particularly was easily the best episode of the season so far. If u keep watching the series and bases it off the webtoon with only 13 EPISODES confirmed your going to disappoint your self Everytime save your self the stress it is what it is overall the episodes haven’t been bad and legitimately get the point across for anime only viewers. Anyways another good episodes see you guys next week.

I like the anime and I understand that you can't have everything from the lore of the webtoon. But Quant was less goofy and more threatening. And I hope they explain how Bangs work, why using swords in higher floors becomes less common and that the black march is not a sword (In GerSub the call it a sword...).

HoH had nothing. He was weak, he wanted to be strong, strong enough to climb up the tower. But ultimately he knew, that he wouldn't be chosen. He didn't have anyplace to go back either. So ultimately, when he lost even his last hope, he just killed himself.

Ehhh he's just a side character... I feel you don't have to necessarily be super strong to make it up the Tower that's why they are always in teams.. but that's just my theory.
