Funny thing, the reason this was done to Rak was because the creator of the webcomic had trouble drawing rak in his tall form all the time so he did this to make it easier for himself. Still chibi rak is best rak!!!

Ah, compressed Rak. Something amazing. Oh and actually useful XD. For a bit of an explanation, Compression is a technique commonly used by larger than normal Tower Climbers in order to fit in better and be more balanced, typically requires a license to use. Han Sung basically did it for Rak because I HIGHLY doubt Rak even cared. Also, for people who wanna know why he calls everyone turtle: the place he was raised only has his species, and turtles. Nothing else. So either you are a Wraithraiser, or a Turtle.

So I learned recently that the tower has a certain rule. If there is someone like Rak who is inside of the tower that is deemed too huge to be wondering around, they are allowed to compress their size into something more manageable so they won't cause any trouble. But even tho he shrunk his strength is still there.
