she wasn't overly excited to see you guys. she wasn't anxious, no crying, jumping or whining. she greated you but then gave you space and did her own thing.. she wasn't hyper focused on you guys at all.. as someone who's rescued and rehomed dogs, that's a really good sign that she's adjusting well! and bonding with her new family. she was completely content and relaxed! that's really awesome to see after only 2 weeks!! she's happy and obviously loved. you guys did an amazing thing rescuing her and finding her a great family!!

Lexi is defiantly a one dog family she needs to catch up on all the love & care she hadn't had so far and wasn't happy to share that within a pack. Such a sweet girl, you can see how happy she is now in her forever home. 🐕🐕💖💖

I think she could have co existed with her old pack. But the alpha dog of that pack attacked her as they really weren't accepting of her due to their jealousy of her bond with her new dad ...at the attack she was protecting he dad not ye other way round. Dogs are pack animals but those dogs perceived her as a threat so she had to go .. unfortunately. But she has a loving home all for her own , so it worked out.
