As a USN SAR TYPE IN VIETNAM WE DID THINGS A LITTLE DIFFERENT. WE FIRST HAD TO SWIN QUAL WITH UDT OR EOD, WE DIDNT HAVE A SCHOOL . WE CROSSED TRAINED WITH, THE AIR FORCE, ARMY,EOD,UDT,MARINES. LOVED IT ALL. GOD BLESS TO ALL MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS. SO OTHERS MAY LIVE. 4.0 ++++ PLUS JOB TO COASTIES.

I ship to boot February 22nd with a Navy AIRR contract. If you want to do this put in the work. If anyone is interested in the navy, I highly recommend the warrior challenge program. The nso/nsw scouts have molded me into something I am very proud of.

Good luck! I myself want to go into the Navy's AIRR. It can be a little intimidating at times especially since I'm a woman but I will give my absolute all to make it. I will check out the challenge too!

@@jacksonwalsh4243 Didn't go as planned. Got dropped from PSTs in Pensacola. My mind was in a different place and I paid the price. That's life though. Not going to quit on it. Ill be back.

@@matthewharder6808 I am going to take the ASVAB to get into the AIRR program. I don't really have a good condition, but I'm getting in. What do you recommend to be able to resist all the training? Sorry if the question bothers you, but why did you leave?

@@mundogamer8717 honestly I would ask questions like this to a specwar scout. Personally I would recommend blowing the PST requirement numbers out of the water before shipping to boot camp. Be as comfortable in the water as possible. As for why I left, it wasn't by choice. Didn't make the cut.

I graduate Navy Surface SAR school in 2 days!! Just passed my finals and got an ocean swim left. If u want it u can make it. Just put in the work
