Only had a 3D printer for 6 months, so not yet. Good information to have when it does happen.

You seem genuinely excited about this subject. You Prusa-Slicer video was also top notch. I would vbe get interested von a beginners "setting symptom" course (like how you mentioned instantly why your benchy was off in the Prusa-Slicer gideo, can you categorize symptoms or is it just kind of a feeling or intuition you develope with time)

I’ve had this happen, and it wasn’t fun. I wish I saw this video then!

Is that a dust clogged heat sink?
@TheFirstLayer3 жыл бұрын
There was a little bit of dust, but the issue was that I accidentally loaded in ABS and printed at PLA temps. Similar things will happen if your filament doesn't stick to the bed.

The worse 1 I ever had was a blob just on the bottom. Pulled it off and started print over. While adjusting the bed height.

I haven't had that happen thankfully. But then I don't leave my A8 unattended at all due to trust issues ;-)

What is the max temp for a silicon sock ?
@TheFirstLayer3 жыл бұрын
Generally, expect silicone socks to start deteriorating if held above 300 degrees for long periods.

hello I know its off topic but your only one I can tell you I just installed cr10s BLTouch firmware everything is installed good but when I goto auto home it goes too center of my bed and starting too knocking please any idea how I get this thing too work
@TheFirstLayer3 жыл бұрын
If it's crashing into the bed with the pin deployed, check the wiring for the endstop (the black and white wires). Some boards need the wires to be reversed in the connector.
