Im Seriously planning to open a Dog rescue Orphanage some day soon in the future, maybe next year Coz ill hopefully have enough money set aside by the end of next year to open such an orphanage near Toronto, Canada and this has been one of my goals and dreams Coz it tears me apart when I see such beautiful animals being put through such hard times for no fault of there own, they have given Humams nothing but LOVE and this is not what they Deserve. These are the animals who would unconditionally love you doesn't matter if you're rich you're poor or you don't feed them or you're treating them not fairly they WON'T STOP LOVING YOU, try that with another Human being doesn't matter if its your BEST FRIEND or Closest Family member or even your own Mom and Dad, they will abandon you in a second if you would ever treat them unfairly or Neglect them or anything but these Angels would NEVER leave your side no matter what you do to them yet this is how we treat "Mans Best Friend" huhh it would be my honor and I would be the luckiest man alive when I get to start helping these beautiful loving animals through my orphanage and hope to do this all my life and hope to inspire countless others to do the same

I cried so much. My dog gets love and affection. I'm the only one in my family who actually looks after her and takes notice of her. Sometimes we come home and we've been out for the whole day everybody apart from me ignores her. I know what my dog feels like. She feels rejected. As if no one wants her apart from me. I feel bad now. I always thought stray dogs just were fine and then they find a home but no. Dogs should be more important than anything. People shouldn't ignore them anymore. Dogs have a life too you know. They have feelings too. So guys, please help the dogs. Make them more important. Especially strays

I HATE cruelty to animals, Period!. And whether pet owners cannot, or do not want to have their pet/s anymore, I wont have a go at them for that, As I don't know their reason for it, And It could be for any number of reasons. But when i will have a go at them and call them scummy animals themselves, Is when they just decide to abandon the animal on the streets, Or worse, In cases, There is absolutely no reason to do that to any animals, Not when there's plenty of places out there(shelters, kennels) and other establishments that will gladly take the animal/s off them and care for it/them, Rather than seeing them put into a helpless situation like this poor little beautiful dog found herslef in, Until these lovely big-hearted people came to the rescue. All these people are amazing and deserve BIG Thankyou's for everything they do. So THANK YOU'S All

This dog, even after being hurt, abandoned in the street still trusted people unconditionally it seems. Incredible stuff. How the shelters get so crowded that they have to put some dogs down is distressing to me. How much pain this poor pooch was in is another reason I rather take care of helpless animals then a lot of people I know. It sucks to say that but its true.

If you see the innocence and vulnerability in this sweet little dog and wonder how anyone could possibly abuse, neglect or otherwise harm an animal, please consider that *all* animals have the capacity to love and to be loved. If your heart aches when it is exposed to animal cruelty, please consider the billions of cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys and other farmed animals and know that they are worthy of your compassion too. We are able to feel strong emotions when seeing a video, such as this one, of a dog or a cat being rescued and that is because we have gotten to know and love dogs and cats. Take the time to think about what it would be like to get to know a cow or a pig - to see them grow from a little baby to an adult... and then imagine that animal being tortured and slaughtered by cruel, callous hands. Those of you who love animals, please try to make the connection and know that going vegan is the greatest gift you can give to the animals, to the planet and to your own spirit. Please check out the movies Earthlings (free online), Peacable Kingdom, and Forks Over Knives. At the very least the animals deserve our educated and informed decisions. Peace and love.

THANK YOU!!! All animals have minds and hearts, and feel terror and pain when being murdered. They all deserve to live a quality life, free from human-inflicted violence. That's why I'm VEGAN :)

cat and dog actually tastes ok, not really my thing though. Most slaughter houses don't torture their animals, it's bad for the product. If you want to know what torture really is check out the Eid al-Adha festival in the middle east, I saw a video where after tying it to a lamp post a guy literally knee capped a cow with a shotgun, then someone stabbed a machete in it's eye, I couldn't watch the rest because the cow's screaming was horrible.

rakanMR , with all due respect sir, humans has the capability to live and fend for themselves, we are the highest species there is, if we just "pay" to "help" humans, aren't we just telling them: "Oh, it's ok if you don't do anything about you life, just sit there and relax." If you do want to truly help them, then, give them a fishing rod and teach them how to fish. And if you argue for the people with disabilities, it's all about perspective sir. 😊 There are a lot of successful disabled people, you could search it in google for more info. 😁

When I watch these types of videos I cry and wonder why people do this to innocent animals . I have two dogs a poodle and a yorkie my poodle was a rescue dog she ended up on my porch when I was in third grade and when I saw her I knew she was my gift from heaven because months before I asked god for a dog so I call her my little angel. When I would try to pick her up she would get scared and when I got to know her more I found out her previous owners abused her and when I found out my eyes let out tears because since I was able to talk my grandma said I used to say I want d to be a vet ,but that is because I have always had dogs in my life and I love every dog and I hope people can hear my message to stop animal cruelty and to stop abandoning dogs . Thank you.

The reason that dogs are so resilient is because they always live in the now, which is one of the secrets to happiness. The fact that we humans possess the highest level of consciousness out of all living things and due to this we are able to dwell on the past and fret about the future, is one of the reasons to explain why we suffer.
@LittleLulubee10 жыл бұрын
There is no proof whatsoever that humans possess the highest degree of consciousness. Not at all. That's a myth promoted by the harmful mindset called speciesism- the incorrect assumption that animals are inferior to us. Nothing could be further from the truth. They may have a way higher level of consciousness than us, for all we know. We're too dumb to know. But one thing that we do know without a shadow of a doubt- animals have minds and hearts, think and feel, experience the same emotions we do, and do suffer psychologically. They have memories of bad experiences, they get PTSD, they lose hope, they give up. They can think of both the future and the past. This is witnessed when you see them mourning their dead loved ones, or looking forward to their friend getting home. So all living beings suffer on not only a physical, but a mental and emotional level. But I agree with your concept that animals are wiser than us. They see reality way more clearly than we do.
@KNOWHOPE7210 жыл бұрын
LittleLulubee Let me clarify what I meant - Animals may have a paranormal sense that we humans don't have (or don't yet have), since it is known that animals can sense impending earthquakes for instance. However, no living species (including the most intelligent species like dolphins and chimps who we can communicate with) except for humans have that unique level of consciousness I call "existential consciousness" - the ability to philosophize about life. That is the highest level of consciousness and unique only to humans, otherwise we would get chimps and dolphins asking us philosophical questions like why are you studying me and what is the purpose of my life. So its by no means a myth but a fact. And while it is true that animals can dwell to a degree on the past and think to a degree about the future (like the example you gave), their lower level of consciousness allows them to quickly get back to living in the present, as this video clearly shows. The exception is when an animal suffers a traumatic experience at a very young age when, like with humans, the brain is undergoing the most amount of development (making the most amount of connections) and therefore experiences during that period leave a profound imprint on the life of the mammal. That is why abused puppies may continue to be afraid of humans their entire life. But the bottom line is that animals are much more resilient than humans because they do not possess existential consciousness which would allow them to philosophize about life.
@cavemanraveman110 жыл бұрын
LittleLulubee that was an incredibly dumb comment, on many levels...
@LittleLulubee10 жыл бұрын
***** I disagree. You said the fact that animals can quickly get back to the present means they have a lower level of consciousness. Not all animals can do that. Depends on the animal and the situation. Also, there are some humans who do quickly jump back to the present. So both animals and humans can quickly jump back to the present, AND both animals and humans can NOT do that, in some cases. It all depends on various factors. So it doesn't prove anything about consciousness. Animals and humans are the same in that way. As for you saying "the exception is when an animal suffers trauma at an early age", I would like to point out that animals who experience trauma at a later stage of life can also develop PTSD or lifelong phobias thereafter. So it doesn't only happen to baby animals. It can happen to animals who were any age when the trauma happened, just as it can happen to humans who are any age. No difference there. When you say "animals can dwell to a degree on the past or future", you don't know to what degree. So you can't say it's to a lesser degree than humans do. When you say "Humans have the highest level of consciousness, existential consciousness, where you philosophize about life", you have no proof of that. You claim it's a fact, not a myth, but what is that claim based on? You have offered no proof that it's a fact. Your only reasoning for saying that is "If they could think that way, then chimps and dolphins would ask us why we're studying them and what's the purpose of life". You're assuming they would ask us. You can't call something a fact based on that. My response to that is, how do you know they haven't asked us that? Humans are too dumb to understand every single word in every single animal language on earth. Dolphins, chimps, and other animals are speaking to eachother all the time. The human race doesn't care enough about animal communication to have spent much time, energy or money trying to decipher what exactly they're saying. Even lifelong cetacean researchers have only been able to figure out a teeny, tiny percentage of what they're saying. So for all we know, dolphins ARE philosophizing about life. For all we know, chimps ARE asking lab workers why they're being treated that way. It's arrogant of humans to assume that we know everything there is to know about animals. We don't. We don't know everything they're thinking or feeling or saying. So until we find out, we need to give them the benefit of the doubt. Because the more that people learn about animals, the more they're shocked as to their level of intelligence and consciousness. Everytime new info comes out in that area, it goes against the belief that they're inferior and limited in their thinking. We need to give animals way more credit than we do. So to conclude, it is NOT a fact that animals have a lower level of consciousness than we do. There's no proof of that whatsoever. It could very well be equal to ours. It could be greater than ours.

To the lady who picked the dog up and everyone else involved in the rescue of this beautiful dog and all animal rescues, thank you so much, you are all angels and heroes and what you do for these animals is amazing. I hope the dog has a new loving family and has the life every animal deserves, full of love, toys and treats and free from suffering, pain or neglect. I wish i worked in rescue, animals and heavy metal are my only passions really (well..and my wife) i work in IT and it sucks, i have no connection to it at all and have been looking into starting my own small rescue center and seeing where i go with it, unfortunately i have bills to pay but i wish i could dedicate the rest of my life to helping animals. its 1am right now, im on a night shift and just wrecked from watching rescue videos.

With all that hair trimmed off she looks like a tiny white greyhound, such a sweet angel! There's nothing sadder than a dependent animal out on our dangerous streets alone, let alone so terribly injured; what an awful thing that so many people drive by and keep going, even when they have secure homes and plenty of room for a little dog like this. We need so many more people like you 2 in this world, and to realize the worthiness of all animals as well, including those in "farms." We should all do our best to end the suffering and rescue those we can; thank you so much. As for puppy breeder$? No words can describe what they deserve.

The little poodle being a runaway is probably very likely. She didn't look emaciated but She had been on her own for a little while, as was apparent by the condition of her fur. She might not have been able to find her way home. It's so nice that there are organizations that will check out reports like this, and then give unfortunate dogs, a new chance at life.
