Love the fact you rescue abandoned classics from rusting to death, Your channel is one of the channels that inspired me to start a channel. I realized there really isn't any channels about abandoned cars here in the us.
@AutomotiveKarnage3 жыл бұрын
Wow dude that is awesome, glade I could help out. The only ones I know of in the states is junkyard digs and motor trends junkyard gold. Both good shows. I'll be sure to check out your channel mate.
@antiqueautoarchaeology74393 жыл бұрын
Yeah there's a bunch of car channels here in the states but there mostly about barn find and will it runs, I mainly do vids of abandoned cars cuz there is a crap ton around my home. I've found 60 it be exact in one small town. Mostly 80s or older.

Another great rescue, but man you’ve got to get a trailer with rollers or make up some universal wheels to get under these wrecks. I just keep thinking your winch is going fail or wrap around you when it breaks a cable. Love your work👍

what a good find. maybe not as good what my uncle found, he found a actual rs2000 mk1 sitting in a forest and got it really really cheap but the car is in much worse condition

I would love to find an actual rare car in the bush like that. But the fact they only made 2500 4 door eskys in 1974 makes this one special enough for me.

Mk1 escorts are known for rust in firewalls and bottom of rear guards. I had a 2dr but removed the 1300, and dropped a 2ltr in. and a 2dr mk1 cortina

The mk1 escorts and mk2,s make quite a bit of money in the uk the 2 door shells make a fair bit even when very rotten and we have a company that build there own mk1 and mk2 escorts with there new shells just not badged as fords and come with modern engines in various tunes they cost an absolute fortune being complete new builds .

Next time consider investing in a winch pulley block, by doubling the rope back it halves the speed of the pull but doubles the strength. Also consider taking along some 100mm diameter log posts or pipe and stick them under as makeshift roller axles if that makes sense

Thanks for the tips. It was the first time I used a winch, so still plenty to learn.

Good fun, why does every car in the bush have no wheels, studs or glass?
@AutomotiveKarnage3 жыл бұрын
Kids love to smash glass, wheels and studs are taken to be used on other cars. This is why cars like the escort are normally well complete because their parts can't be used on other cars like falcons and commodores.
