it's sad to think that all of that mess, all of those objects, made some kind of sense to some person at one point. That was their life. The cats too - were most likely pets. Waiting for the owner to return :(

Someone local is feeding the stray cat colony. Not necessarily typical feral behavior, surprising they come up to humans at all. I hope a trap & neuter rescue can rehome them. Glad you saved one, son. A lot of times owners pass away with no family, I've seen it and these poor fur babies are left behind. ❤ Subbed

This reminds me of a house on my street. She had like 10 cats and would keep her back door open for wild animals to come in to feed. One day she got up and left. Don't know if she took the cats with her but I do know people on hazmat suits went in the house and threw a lot of stuff away.

Parker, you need to call the local ASPCA and they will come get them. They are probably wild cats or they have been left by the previous owner....which I doubt...it doesn't look like anyone has lived there in years...Thanks for doing the right thing Parker....Your videos are great! this house kinda reminded me of something. I used to live in North ca in this miners town. there was this old trail down past my house and there was old miners cabins surrounding the area. it was covered in little kid clothes and toys. it looked like people just went there to dump all of their trash there. it was super depressing

Was the SPCA notified The rest of those cats needs to be rescued as well,, The person who lived there may have died , incarcerated or put in a nursing home.What ever Those who live in such squalor are mentally ill and needs to be placed in a supervised facility.. Kitty really wanted to go with you! He seemed to be under foot throughout your entire tour of house. Looked like he was sort of blocking your foot in an attempt to keep you safe when you were trying to navigate that tricky spot with no floor. And yes, as others have asked, please update on kitty.
