Rescuing a miter saw

bought this off for $75.00 to replace the saw that was stolen. I'm totally done with paying for brand new equipment.

Hey Henry, very informative. I have a 12" slider just like that one. My problem is when I go to change the miter table, its very tight....not smooth. What's your prognosis? Thanks man, I always look forward to your content. Greetings from Washington State.

Hi Nathan. I would suggest that loosen that bolt that's just behind the throat plate. Loosen it up enough so that you can lubricate the sliding table. Once it moves freely then tighten up that bolt and see what happens.

I was just thinking one last thing when you loosen that bolt off take your compressor and blow that area out underneath. It may have sawdust and a mixture of metal filings from moving the table
