A PhD in chemistry of Pakistan or 20 years science teacher can’t understand what is pH. How this pH = -log[H]+ eq. come about and how pH is important? A MSc student can’t write a scientific paper. Bio major knowledge of calculus is negligible. Pakistan majority graduates are not ready for any industrial or teaching assignments. It is our teaching weakness. Similarly, our doctors are not knowledgeable of basics fluids and medicinal colloidal behaviors. Our physicist are not trained well in the field of Quantum Mechanics, thermodynamics, therefore, we don’t have enough qualified teachers and there is no interaction between college, university, high school and industry. Would it matters if a pupil asks for the research topic. When, I was in Glasgow, Imperial and the US, PhD research topics given me to pick one of those. They had qualifying exams, candidacy exams where independent panels grade our exams and presentation and PhD dissertation well ahead announced and in the room there are people of all disciplines join you to support you. Often, they don’t fail anyone. Four research papers are minimum at any prestigious peer review journal. I hope it gives some ideas on the gaps.

Commodity exports with subsidies, very disappointed from PIDE. You can read others work and apply physical phenomena to interpret, nothing wrong on it.
