Contrary to what is stated in the lecture, replicability for qualitative research *is* possible. A frequently made distinction is between replicability and reproducibility. In this, replicability does not require gathering exactly all the same data again (same people, same time and place, etc.). This would be reproducibility, where everything should be done exactly in the same way. This is not only a qualitative research issue. In quantitative analysis, you should consider at each stage of the process whether you come to the same conclusions. For example, operationalization depends on conceptualization. The operationalization should be taken as an outcome that may or may not be replicable.
