Stepwise Interpretation of Moderation Results using

Sir, assalamualaikum. I have learned a lot from your online tutorial during my on going PhD. In this video , scenario 2 and 4 are confusing to me, which do not go with my understanding from different articles regarding moderating issues. Scenario 4 seems to be opposite, like the negative interaction effect will strengthen the negative IV-DV relationship. My understanding was based on the article "Entrepreneurs' Optimism and New Venture Performance: A Social Cognitive Perspective" by Hmieleski and Baron (2009) and from "Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) Using R: A Workbook" by Hair et al. |(2021.). I am struggling with it. Please help me to resolve my confusion.

+/- means strengthen or weaken the relationship. That relationship can be positive or negative.
