Don’t be fooled. This channel is loaded with videos like this. Who really keeps their consoles like this? I don’t even think if found in the trash they’d be in these types of conditions. Oh man, watching those videos of yours makes me think about a lot of things. First is patience. You must be the most patient person in this world because disconnect all those plugs, clean things up, using lots of tools and making a sustentable thing... It is super amazing and admiring. Second is being sustentable. Ppl loves to throw things away that can be fixed, restored or even recycled. That's why we are having lots of ambiental problems. Third and last, making these old school consoles run again must be like walking around with your newly painted bike or with new wheels of your skates... And it's satisfying to see. I said a lot already, so thanks for making these videos man. Lots of love from the huge retrogaming community from Brazil 🇧🇷

It does not use the same console. Basically, it shows how to clean a console but when he does the final test of the video, the console is a different one. You just have to look at the corners. The initial console has good corners and the final console has some notches in the corners, showing that it is a different and functional console, to deceive the spectators.

Overall, great restoration. I take issue with a couple items though. Your videos appear to nearly copy Odd Tinkering videos format with nothing new added to make your videos stand out as "unique". This is not really an "issue" but wanted to point out that I think that you could take your brand/videos to the next level by being a little more unique while still accomplishing the same types of content without looking like a "copy". In terms of the restoration, I would have liked to see a little more detail on what you were spraying on the electronics to clean them or using to grease the cd/dvd tray. I assume isopropyl alcohol and lithium grease but not everyone is familiar with the process and may be looking to your videos as a sort of "how to" to inspire them to do the same. On screen text for these types of items would stand out and help the community out i think. Electronics contact cleaner spray would also be a decent alternative for cleaning without causing harm to the electronics. The plastic polish was a nice touch and would have liked to know what you used here, I think overall text explanations and things to read for people looking for details would be a great thing for your content. It wouldnt need to be overtlyintrusive but something discrete to show what size bits you used, types of tools and supplies, even annotations of your thought processes along the way help tell a story and guide people which a channel like this would likely see returns on in terms of subscriptions/return audience. Lastly, the mod appeared to be installed and then taped with masking tape which is not a great solution and for a restoration video I would have liked to see you replace that tape with Kapton tape (which i saw you use to clean the cd/dvd rom spindle in the video) which would be a more appropriate solution to keep the contacts from touching the steel frame without being something that could become a hazard or a future issue. Again, good video, your camera work is good and lighting and sound are all great. I cant say that i felt that true ASMR but overall great job. Looking forward to seeing more :)
