i would also remove the headshell (part holding stylus) by rotating the screw thread on the turntable arm and safely wrap that up on a small box if poss and put any styli protection cover on

Good point, always worth going the extra mile, I went for the stuff the lid with chunky bubble wrap instead option- touch wood has done me ok so far :)

yeah some people remove the lid too- i just make sure there are enough layers of protection for me not to worry :)

Very helpful and full of juicy facts with excellent presentation. You Aussies can talk fast....but nice and clear:-) I'm hanging on for a few months/weeks to see if AMD's new upcoming cpu range will have an even better budget combination with the RX 470. Hi, yes I left a note regarding that as well as the transit screws- also the user manual will have setup info too :)

Yea I tried using Yodel the other day never again. I think I will try UPS next time little more expensive but its the after service care which is important also. Did you go through parcels to go Zaheer or you have a UPS account?

I have a turntable now in its final moments of selling and its looking like its going to Hong Kong from Devon. I am slightly nervous about it

Gosh that would make me nervous- as long as you pack it well it will be fine- I shipped a delicate turntable to Australia and it got there fine :)
