Which accounting software do you recommend and why? If you have a video on it, please share the link

It depends on a few different things - how many platforms you sell on, your comfort level with accounting, how fast you're growing, etc. It could be as simple as a spreadsheet. Simple programs include GoDaddy bookkeeping or QuickBooks self-employed. More robust and complete bookkeeping systems would include something like QuickBooks Online. It might be worth doing a few free trials to explore.

I know you are super busy this time of year so if you can't answer I understand. But I am stuck, where do I deduct the % of the business parts of my cell phone and internet? Do I put them under utilities on Schedule C, or under office expenses? Do I put them under utilities on 8829? Because then the % is wrong. I use my internet and cell phone more than the 15% business use of my house. I sell on Ebay. Thank you for your help!!! 🙏🙏

Tax question, the jeep i use to drive to garage sales, estate sales, post office. Broke down while i was driving and needed 3k worth of work to the engine, would i have been able to claim that work?

Hey Mark, I have watched all your videos, and they are soooo informational! I appreciate them very much. I am going to sign up for your course as soon as it goes on sale. I have a question I can't get a solid answer on. I'm a part time reseller. I drive 20 miles to my real job every day. In the morning I drive to the post office and then on lunch I thrift. Can I write off all of those miles since I do use it for my part time business or no because ultimately I am going to me real job for the day anyways? Thanks! You can't deduct the commuting portion to your day job, but any deviations you take to go source or visit the post office would be part of your deductible business mileage 👍🏼

Assuming you are a sole proprietor (what you are by default), it all goes together on your personal tax return. The business activity just goes on a separate schedule of that same return.

"it goes on sale on January 19th for a limited time!" my question, is the sale only on the 19th or is it a few days long? I'm new to reselling and just invested all my funds into merchandise but I do get paid on the 22nd from my full time but I would like to take advantage of the sale price
