Hey love! the reason your stainless steel cookware is sticking is that it's not hot enough. I know it sounds counter intuitive, but the stainless has to get hot enough to create a "crust" on the food almost instantaneously so the food won't stick. There are a few vids on YT that can show you. It's not you or your stove. It's just got to get hot to the point where water is "dancing and gliding" across the surface. Most people don't know this and think the pans are defective, don't work, etc. Just wanted to share that. as someone who used to be a night manager at a goodwill (even though i closed i was not head manager) they all take the sale tags down the day they are on sale and i absolutely hated it, all those clothes just ended up at the bins anyway and they overprice everything and we couldnt do anything about it because it was all forced by corporate. Also goodwill doesnt donate really any of that money to anything, they get around it by using some of the donation money for their internal programs. So goodwill will host days in store for tax, resume and job searching help but thats all that money is used for, which is why i never pushed anyone to donate money on top of shopping there. They also take anything worth anything and send it to the online auction so that no one can get it for cheap despite them getting the inventory for FREE. NEVER shop at the normal goodwill stores unless you really need to, always the bins/outlets because thats how much it should be worth in the first place Ive probably gotten 30 pieces for my own personal wardrobe for like $80 when in a normal goodwill it wouldve been about $300 and thats not even exaggerating and its sad

Wow! I can’t say I’m shocked. I know about 6 months in I learned that the “round up” was actually just a write off the company gets to us from our money so I completely stopped that. They are greedy. The bins is the main place I source and like to find personal items. My location has even went up from 1.29 to 1.69 but I do think they are going to continue to raise the price because they are so greedy.

Somebody might have said this already, but stainless steel supposedly works best if it's heated 1st. The surface is sealed or something and you know it's ready when water balls up, then you add the stuff you cooking.

I love Thrift Giant(fav location is the one in Lewisville). I went to the location you went to and the manager and i exchanged words be she changed thd price at the register. Then her and her homegirl starting talking about me in spanish. Then i used all the Spanish words i knew.

You literally inspire me every time I watch you - you do every aspect of reselling and YT on your own + you just moved AND you're a momma. totally inspiring. YES, THEY PULL THE SALES COLORS AS QUICK AS THEY CAN. they pull the sale color of the week THE DAY it changes to that color at my local stores - so they can put 'new' not on sale items out. My outlet was on the local news a few days ago, the manager said they make over 10k a day at the outlet at items costing $1.69/lb... she actually thought it was a good idea to say those words to the camera. goodwill is wild. double edge sword. "well she aint no bitch, but girl" LOLOLOL

Hi Gloria, as always great vlog... I have a solution or idea for you with your Business. You can rent a small office space where you could have all your inventory, a desk, chair, and can take Pictures etc... instead your Apartment and 2 storage units. That way you can furnished your place the way you want and much better for your son !

Try pre-heating them! I had to watch a video to figure mine out. You can drop water in the pan when it's pre-heating, and when it "dances" in the pan, it's ready!

😂l know exactly what you are saying about the thrift store that pick up the half price items, especially the good ones and put them in the back. Unless this cooperation has changed the color tag , the 50% change on Sunday or Monday but l am almost sure it's on Sunday, lf you are able to go on Sunday always ask what is your color tag of the week some store change in right away and some don't. But that color tag should change on Sunday unless they changed to Monday, so if you can go on a Sunday they can't pull everything that quick. If you can't go on Sunday go .Monday they been doing this mess for years. When you said it l startedl laughing🎉because you are correct

I personally would have sent a refund if I never shipped it out. Now if it was packaged and I was en route to the PO then i'd decline. Someone just did this to me said the purchase was an accident and I wanted to fight with them but since I had never purchased the label/getting shipped the item I just cancel. I try to block those people too.

it feels peaceful but very quiet and lonely. whew! 18 years is a long time but you'll definitely adjust. I definitely adjusted quickly because we had already broke up 5 months prior so I did all my sad girl tings while I was still at the house so I felt liberated moving into my own space. You are going to love it.

I have had steel clad aluminum pots and pans for over 40 years now.(Wearever) The reason food sticks is the temps you are cooking on. You are not using hot enough temps. Most chefs do not use the dreadful silverstone or teflon coated cookware. Look up a chef and see what they say. It's so much healthier to do it this way. Don't give up. I just found your KZbin channel. You seem to have a good eye. I do not. Thank you.

There are several sellers selling fake stuff on there. They've been reported to Whatnot, but they don't do anything about it. I've found that sellers don't take the time to check for flaws and disclose them.
