Please keep making videos. I was subscribed to over 20 reseller sites. I am now at 3. One for high end clothing, one for antiques, and you. The ones that got axed~too much drama, too much personal stress, unfindable objects, rude shopper, dizzy videos, etc. What I love about your videos: the packing, sourcing of the everyday (which is often available), how to run the back of the shop, and the travel. I would love to walk down the street of some of the towns you visit. I appreciate your realistic pace and explanations of what you find. One suggestion would be to pick your days for video release, so I know when to look for you!! I appreciate you and Mark and I hope you make this a "good thing".

I try. It's something that I took on early in my KZbin "career" because I couldn't find good videos out there. The reason most KZbinrs DO NOT do pack and ship videos is because the KZbin "payout" from advertising is so LOW. It's just not worth their time. Thank you Pat!

How odd that Goodwill videos are so popular. I rarely go to Goodwill because I don't like their ridiculously high markups in my area. I do like clothing hauls but I learn more from hard good hauls. My favorite videos are estate sales. In all honesty, I only regularly follow 6 resellers and none of them have drama, most primarily shop yard sales or estate sales, and they are resellers who have quite a lot of knowledge. You are definitely one of those channels. I cannot imagine why you would ever get a thumbs down on a video, that's absolutely crazy to me. This video is eye opening to me in many ways. I've often thought about starting a channel but I just don't think I have it in me to take the time that would be needed and I don't have the time to put in the effort to learn how to edit videos right now. I wish you great success and will keep watching as long as you keep creating videos.

OMGosh Goodwill shopping videos are extremely popular. I've seen (major) reseller/youtubers gain 50,000 more views just because it was a Goodwill shopping video. (They have nearly 100,000 subscriber or more). We don't do a lot of estate sales. Pretty pricey on the first two days and barely anything left on the last day. For reselling, it's not my first choice. Thank you for making us one of your favorite 6 resellers! Yes, KZbin is very, very hard if you don't have a "huge hook, a shoutout from a well established KZbinr, or don't have plenty of Goodwill stores to shop." If I knew nearly five years ago, what I know now, I would have probably just started my jewelry making channel but not a reselling channel. Why? A larger pool of potential viewers who are NOT watching for information on how they can make a living off of the content they are absorbing, i.e. they watch more so for fun and entertainment rather than for tips on how to help them get rich "reselling." LOL.

I'm a new reseller and I think your videos are fantastic. I will say that KZbin apparently doesn't go out of their way to recommend your videos when we are searching for reselling. It took me quite a while to find you after not connecting with any of the other drama, click-bait, daily goodwill youtubers. I love your videos and watch when I can. I own a small business and sometimes get swamped, reselling is more of a hobby for me though I am increasing it and your videos have been a tremendous help. What I love about your videos is that you and Mark are no non-sense type people. Ignore the idiots who complain about the price at what you buy/sell items. These people have no idea what it takes to purchase, inventory, clean, repair, research, photograph and list and ship the items. I think reselling is not for everyone and they discover quickly what it takes to do that. The fact that you make videos is amazing to me and I appreciate your style and kindness. As a reseller, who recently retired (YES!!) and is relying to a degree on eBay, I actually do not enjoy the videos on clothing, or the bins trips, etc. I like your travel videos that show your surroundings. Shopping Tennessee is SO different than Nebraska. I love seeing that! The all year round, the constant church sales. Your Tennessee treasure hunting is way different than the click bait drama. I like yours better! Sightseeing, shopping, reselling. One of your unsung hooks is jaunting about stunning Tennessee! So different and fun

Hi Vickie and Mark! - Recently found your channel when your Clear Glass video popped up on our feed. I was so excited to see a video on clear glass! My husband and I have been binge watching your videos ever since. To comment on the topic of this video - I think you appeal to a more "mature" audience. Embrace it! We love they way you and Mark interact, your sense of humor and your style! Allen and I are knocking (hard) on the door of 70 and resell on eBay, only, right now.(We took a 2 year break from reselling in Dec. of 2021 after Allen had a stroke). What appeals to us about your videos is that you do look for things to resell that the younger sellers would turn their noses up at. They want the "quick flip" for huge money and don't want to hear about clear glass, brass, etc! Keep doing what you are doing for us more mature sellers who want some good entertainment mixed with good information! That is what you provide! Embrace it and keep going! Cindy & Allen P.S. Today is July 20th. I'm watching this video today after discovering your channel in June. We were big eBay resellers in Florida in the late 1990s. Inventory was easy to come by then and there. Our earnings helped us move to the western North Carolina mountains in 1999. We couldn't find things to resell, we were building a house and raising our son, so our eBay selling days ended. Fast forward to 2024, and we are now retired. We have been buying inventory, but haven't started listing yet. Virtually everything has changed since 1999. Back then, including photos was challenging, and I learned a little HTML to dress up our listings. Even shipping is different. Your videos are so helpful to me to understand all the changes. I almost think I am up to speed, but we will find out for sure when I start doing drafts for listings we want to go live after out upcoming trip in August. Thank you so very much for your help. Don't ever doubt yourself. You and Mark have been very encouraging, and very helpful.

Yes, ebay is ever changing. It changes twice a year! I suggest you read up on the ebay web site to learn and understand the basics. After that, KZbin videos, like our :-) and others can be very helpful. We didn't have KZbin to watch decades ago! Thank you Mariann!

But very few tell us how long it took for each item to sell. That would be valuable to me. Also, have you thought about doing interviews? Maybe a top seller tips from a reseller in each state? Yes, STR is VERY popular in videos right now. We check STR all the time, we just don't talk about it very much. BUT, if I only bought things that had STR on ebay, I would miss out on all the things we've made really good profit on. Vintage items, unusual items, different items seldom have good "sold comps" on ebay, if any. That's where we trust our experience and intuition. I'm glad to hear you like seeing how long it can take for some items to sell. You see, we do have LOTS of storage and we can free up more with a little bit of work. And, we've always been long term sellers. Mainly, again, because we sell a lot of "vintage" items and they can have a longer shelf to sell life. As to interviews, I do have some ideas on that. We'll see what the year brings. Thank you!

I like your videos just as they are. Not being surrounded by thrift stores is probably a disadvantage for you but I like the car rides. You’re my go to reseller whenever I need information or a solution to shipping a difficult item. Just the other day I shipped a pair of antique brass wall mirrors for a good penny. If it wasn’t for you, I would’ve been terrified but I used pool noodles and bubble wrap and scotch tape and it arrived in perfect shape because I did it the way Vickie would’ve. Hi Vicki and Mark. For what it's worth I appreciate your straight forward non-drama, relaxed channel. At the end of the day you have to make the right decision for you. As for me I have had many personal hits. It is an unwanted ride. I, at times, have watched your videos multiple times or keep it on the background. Am technically not a reseller, I sell locally and been trying to absorb as much info. to move to an online presence. What I appreciate most is that you're older and inspire me to move forward regardless of what happens. What I see too often for many older individuals is that they are an mundane sheltered world. You Vicky have so much knowledge, are earnest and truthful in what you provide and I value so much. Mark you are genuinely funny and mindful. You both hold wholesomeness of a bygone era. I look forward to your videos and I deeply need this time to keep me motivated especially on those days where pain is so much too handle. My Mamá(grandmother) lived until 91...she was always into something until around 88 and for very personal and tragic reasons she said to me, am tired. However, keep moving or you will lose it. As I see my own mother, she's losing it and it is really sad to see. Am glad you enjoy editing and doing the videos. That has its own value. I thought about you guys and pray everything is well. My son asks of you guys and stated you would make great grandparents. You both are in our hearts and we pray for the best. God bless❤

I’m here!! I’m a 67 year old reseller in So Cal, making extra money to supplement my meager retirement… hoping to prolong collecting SS until I’m 70. I love reselling on eBay, Mercari, and local sites. Vickie, there are so many KZbinrs out there, it’s overwhelming!! Sometimes I take a break from some of my subs, then I can watch 3 or 4 in a row. I found your channel 2023 and have been binge watching, it got me througha very dark time in my life. I love watching you and Mark working as a team. I was so happy to see the Christmas ornament video, i kept thinking i would pay good money to have a peek in all those storage boxes. I have unsubscribed to so many channels because of the drama or the ones where they just rush through rummage sales grabbing everything, there is no value to that content. I think your one disadvantage is finding good sources for inventory. I do love the country drives and all your content. My heart hurts for you both as i know how hard you both work and you feel so discouraged.

Yes, Maggie...thank you so much for binge watching my videos. You kept me company over my 6-week break as I always wondered which video you would choose next. Yes, inventory. We find some but it takes a lot of locations, stops and research to find it. If you love the country drives, more coming this year. I don't feel as discouraged now as I did the past six weeks before I made this video. You could say it was cathartic for me. I know what I can bring and what I can bring to my videos. Ultimately, the "audience", the "viewers" decide if my channel continues. KZbin works for viewers, not content creators. Just like ebay supports the "buyers" over "sellers" most of the time.
