I was a regular user of mercari as a buyer. However, now I do not use it anymore because of their ridiculous service fees etc. Its a no no for me to use it anymore. Ebay is better.

I primarily sell on Poshmark. I have a label printer that I print all of my labels on no matter what platform I use. If I run out of labels then I print on regular paper and tape the label to the package.

Watching your videos always inspires me to spruce up my listings, organize my packing space and supplies, etc. I sell online primarily for decluttering, and I find it so gratifying, similar to what you've explained in videos before. Just now while watching, I sent an offer and almost right away got a KA-CHING!! ☺️ Thanks Vickie and Mark!

This video was filled with so many helpful hints. I'm also old school and never tried to use the QR code at the Post Office. I definitely will store that info away for the time when my printer refuses to do its job! PS I love how your little ear rings match the flowers on your blouse.

Another great video!!! As stated before, summer is when I do my annual store audit, adjust prices, relist or reconfigure listings as you did with glass fruit & list any deathpile items after walking through my homes. I'm happy to announce your last boot camp video marked the end of auditing of my Ebay store & now organizing s/h station while watching this video. I truly love this new style of video. This has kept me motivated this summer as you are friends in my head & distracted from the news today. ❤

I think at the very end.. the white thing you asked if it was for crafting? I think it is a cat puzzle toy. My friend had one. Thanks for the listing tip! I will be doing that from now on! Looking it up and saving a draft plus taking to photo is kind of genius 💕💕

Finally catching up on a couple weeks of videos. Ebay is a lot like Poshmark in the amount of work it takes. I don't think it matters what platform(s) you use, it's work. The difference between reselling and my regular 8-5 5 day a week job is that I actually enjoy reselling. I just can't live off of reselling. Is that because I don't do it full time? I don't think so, I think it's just how reselling typically works. I have only been listing things I already have this Summer and have not been buying anything new for resale.
@AvanteAvenueКүн бұрын
Love that! Thank you, Laura! You are so right, it is "work." Gotta enjoy it to keep it up all this time. We don't try to live off it either but the money sure comes in handy. Thank you!

I believe most of the clear glass that is around was handed out in movie theaters weekly or sold on a weekly basis by supermarkets. That's why there is plenty of it around and it is not valuable.
@AvanteAvenueКүн бұрын
I think that was from the 1940s to 1960s? There are so many brands of clear glass available and many resellers pass it up but some does have some value. Thank you!

It took me a couple of months to realise I was looking items up twice, once to check comps and then when I was wanting to find a listing to sell similar to start my listing. It was a game changer to sell similar while in the store or estate sale once I decided to buy it. I would also fill in the price the same as the sold comp price to give me an idea what they were going for. Love the idea of the lift, I will need that if or when I sell an American Eagle statue I have listed. Thanks, Michaela 😊.

When I look up items and I pick it up, I take a screenshot of the listing I’m comping from. I do this just to give me an idea of the sold comp - I love sell similar but I don’t like that it doesn’t auto fill the price. Love the video as always! Great prices on those listings you put up this week!
@AvanteAvenueКүн бұрын
No, sell similar doesn't fill in the price but we always check sold AND active comps anyway before pricing. Thanks!
@EclecticInTexasКүн бұрын
@@AvanteAvenue oh I definitely do too! When I’m in store sourcing I just focus on sell through rate and ROI. The screenshot is usually a listing with the most frequently sold price and item info. I don’t do a lot of research in store because I’m afraid someone else will get the good stuff before I can lol

You can send items over 5 lbs on Poshmark but you have to buy the extra you need that’s over the 5lbs

I do believe the label though has to be purchased directly through Poshmark, and I would have to pay the difference. I didn’t have time to even consider that I wouldn’t want to pay the difference. Thank you Sandra!

Boot camp is going well for me. I hit 35 listed this week. Had 10 orders since starting (2 weeks) which is good considering my eBay store has been inactive since January. So woohoo to me! I did break down and hit my local stores this week mostly looking for larger booth items. Found one thing for my antique booth so it is going there on Monday. I picked up a small 3 tier rolling cart at Goodwill a while back. I use it to pull my 25+ items from my shelves then wheel it over to my Photo Booth. As I shoot I pull an item, shoot it, measure and weigh it, then put it on my listed shelf. I shoot everything in one session, that way I can then list my 5 + items while I am watching tv at night. So far this method is working great! I already have my next group of 25+ items on the cart waiting for me to shoot on Monday. Thanks again for the bootcamp idea. It really motivates me to start selling my money pile.

Hello! I've really been liking your videos, and I have learned a lot! At a couple times in the video, you show the order sheet from eBay with a custom label line that shows the price at which you sourced it (see 22:10). How do you add that to an eBay listing without customers being able to see it?
@AvanteAvenue3 күн бұрын
The custom label SKU is right below the title when you’re making a listing and it’s absolutely private. The buyer does not see it, only you. Hope that helps!

If I want to use this box but not priority, can I wrap the box in paper?

No, USPS priority knows to watch for this. The buyer could be responsible for the priority mall cost upon arrival.
