Reservoir hike and Coca-Cola bottle find

Scenery was nice and I am from Up here in NW Pa 42 miles south of Erie. Worked in woods with my dad when I was teenager and my 20s Got to know all trees and always was outside and played in the woods. Climbed the rocks and falling trees and swinged on grape vines. Dammed up cricks and made mud pies lol. Good to see a fellow Pa sister that loves the outdoors and animals and would rather be outside. You Always have a friend here and thanks for your channel

You keep being you... young lady and dont let others deminish who you are. one who has to be outdoors. I hate being inside for long periods. When i had a home a 3 bedroom property in the country... i lived more outside than in my home in the country and camped more often in my yard than sleeping inside. There were so many animal who would come thru my property. The energy was so unbelievable there and my garden thrived. Unfortunately, I lost it all including my job after the 2008 recession like millions of others. Life is too short and getting shorter so be kind to yourself and live for the moment! I've been homeless off and on since i lost it all, but i continue to be in nature where i am free! New subsciber! Namaste! Carpe Diem! From a Vietnam Era Marine Corps veteran.

I like being along in your pocket on these walks. As soon as I saw the Reservoir I wondered if you were far enough north to have much of a ice fishing season there in PA ? You answered that question. I would highly recommend you take your kiddo's ice fishing. You would all get much from the experience. We do a lot of that up here in WI. and really enjoy it with Family, friends, or alone. I am a licensed WI. Fishing Insructor with our State DNR. You have to take a class course to get your certification. I teach kids to adults how to fish during any season in WI. Fishing is a rewarding experience to give people that skill set and appreciation for our aquatic environment, species, identification, gear, methods, techniques, boating tips, laws, bag limits, safety , how to catch and release fish properly, cleaning, and cooking fish. I was in my Dad's pocket by 3 doing these things outdoors. Thank's for giving me a opportunity to be along in the great State of PA. with you. Nice find and another great video as always. I saved the song you mentioned and I’ll listen to it when I finish here. My Dad used to go ice fishing at Penn Warner club and he told me they drove their trucks right out on the ice! That had to be some thick ice. He built this sled thing that had storage for his fishing stuff and he could use it as a seat. He had these special fishing rods that were called tip-up rods and they had a flag on them that would pop up was a fish was on the hook. The world needs more people like you. I am happy that I have “met” you here.

I’m not telling a lie, but I would hunt for artifacts in the fields where I grew up… I would see odd things in the woods… until I ran into a bigfoot in the woods across from my house only 50 yds from my house. I had noticed glimpses of a hairy animal moving into the bushes on mushroom foraging into the woods across from my house. The encounter I had was day time and I know what I saw… once they think you’re no threat they will reveal themselves.. but I was in an overgrown brier woods…. you are an old soul and you have a connection to your past lives.. I grew up on reading a lifetime subscription of Nat Geo my grandparents had back to the 1920’s

i knew i would have the luck of the irish since im irish but i didn't know it would be like this: i was walking in the woods on st pattys day and i thought that i am irish and im going to find an old bottle. and i just randomly picked a spot and started digging and what i pulled out was a very old milk bottle from the 50s and it had the date march 17th on it!

Merry Christmas. That bottle could have easily been dropped by Santa .... I think he used to get coal near there back when that Coke was 10 or 15 cents a bottle. I think its great when you fling the rocks on the ice . Gives the minnows something to contemplate . Ty as always.

Nice to see the baby hemlock, and to see you got out. It looked like a nice day, do people not have houses just to go in when it's dark or really bad weather, that's what I thought they were for. Nice find on the coke bottle I just found one almost identical 2 weeks ago, except mine says Asheville on the bottom. It's in similar condition and I like that it is worn some, makes it look old. Have you ever saw the video of Janes addiction - Up The Beach that someone put the surfing video to? It is absolutely a masterpiece that you may enjoy if you get a chance you should watch

I've never met your sister and I live in NC, along with the other 25 million or whatever it is now. I'm glad there's not more, but they are loving it and moving here everyday. I think there were over 120,000 moved to WNC in 20-21 alone during the covid crap

You would have no problem finding a walking bud I'm guessing...Aqua owns a smaller reservoir near me too...plenty of open space in New Mexico still but the land scape is drab to me I am happiest among hardwoods...

If you enjoy being outdoors and history, you might enjoy metal detecting. I do it at least a few times a year just by myself walking along the local river. It's so different from other outdoor activities, you might enjoy it.

I think the date on that coke bottle might be 1947, but I can’t tell. The way to tell is look for the glass company mark in between the base and the embossing and you should see a number on each side of the glass company mark. This area can be seen at 10:19 in the video. Some people say it’s always the number on a certain side, but I’ve found that they could be on either side. Basically whichever number makes more sense when added in front of 19 for a date!

“social battery” You have a similar term as me, I refer to my “social energy” level. You are doing shorts? ok then. Although I am not a fan of shorts I will check out yours. I think this is the first song you shared without lyrics. I like it. I was thinking maybe lyrics are something you expect in songs you listen to. I will share one of my favorite instrumental songs. This is considered folk music. I found it because the it was on a nature show long ago. The band did a number of songs for the show but this one is my favorite. Inti Illimani - Huayra. Check out the version with the yellow stylized face playing a pan flute in the thumbnail. It says Inti Illimani 3 at the top left of the thumbnail. The audio is better on this then the live versions.
