Cussing is one thing, but yelling at a child and cussing is not a good thing at all IMO. That's the thing about stand-up: it really is a lot of work put in for years and years without much name recognition. The biggest names in the game right now worked in small theaters and nightclubs for a long time before they made it; Iglesias, Chappelle, Burr, Glaser, Schlesinger, and more all had to start somewhere. Randy's in a unique situation in comedy because Randy is the entire face of the show from start to finish, a niche in comedy unoccupied by anyone else so far. The real genius of this guy is that he incorporates Randy's strange appearance fully into the jokes, and incorporates Randy into real life happenings as if it's perfectly normal for us to see a purple puppet just walking down the street doing things the rest of us do. Randy will make it big, but we have to be patient.
