Hey, thanks for watching! This is a remix of the Reset (Thank You) theme of the amazing game Okami. It took a LOT of work (probably around 60 - 70 hours of collective work) and I wasn't the only one who made it! It's a five-way collaboration!
Shanath on Newgrounds organised this whole thing by making a MIDI arrangement of Reset (Thank You). Then, she sent it to me and I remade the whole thing, changing the instrumentation, some of the composition, the drums, etc... and I also mixed everything (that took nearly 30 hours). Buoy from Newgrounds also helped here by recording all of the guitar parts (acoustic and electric) himself and making it sound amazing. After that, fyri52 from KZbin sung the vocals and I tuned them. I sent everything to Mrmilkcarton from Newgrounds who mastered it all, and did some further mixing.

I used FL Studio to make this, with the plugins East/West Symphonic Orchestra, East/West Ra, East/West Stormdrum and EZdrummer, and some random wind chime samples I got from the Internet. The video and captions were made with Windows Live Movie Maker, with images I found on Google.

I beat this game 17 times, and I still cry everytime. I'm so happy I played this game as a kid, and that I bought it as soon as it came out. So many memories and tears, like a bitch XD but there's no shame at crying for a game like this. I just wished they were given the chance to make the sequel they planned.

A picturesque arrangement, hauntingly beautiful and even 10 years after its release, deeply resonant and meaningful with both words and melody. This song sounds like a song about the loss of a loved one, the beginning talks about the loss, the promise was a proposal. The person wants to go back in time before the person passed away, the meeting at the cherry tree is where the person proposed, the person wants to meet the loved one's spirit before passing on at the cherry tree. This probably isn't the story behind it, but just thinking about it that way gives it more meaning behind it, it makes it much sadder.

I remember listening to fyri52's English cover of it on her channel and thinking "This is great, but I wish I could hear an English cover of Reset that used the original song version and not the Thank You version". Man I laughed so hard when the groovin bass came in the first time I heard this song which was in Flash Flash Revolution which is a rhythm game where you use any keys you can set on a keyboard. This is an interesting song for sure with all the different feel changes and the distant distorted guitar. Man sometimes distorted guitar in the background more than in your face can be cool.

I had my last day of secondary school a few days ago. I absolutely love the people in my year and it hurts so much to leave them. Also, I'll be leaving the girl who I'm completely in love with. I'm in a lot of pain right now, and I remembered this song and knew that I had to listen to it again. This helped more than you could possibly know.
